Great site and nice campground. Full sun so awesome for my solar system. No issues entire stay. Will come back again and enjoy the jeep and hiking trails.

Great location, right in the middle of the park and close to Zabriskie point, Golden Canyon, Artists Palette, Badwater Basin, Sand Dunes. Dante's View and Ubehebe Crater are about 45-60 min away. It's also right next to the Visitor Center

The employer is not friendly and they check everything to find your minor fault and give a ticket. I left the stove in the table when go out and the ranger took it away and gave as a $175 ticket :( If you come here, should be very carefully.

Id give this 5 stars but the deferred maintenance on the bathrooms moves me to a 4. The dishwashing/drinking water stations throughout the campground are really helpful. Rv dump was free and easy to use, clean. Fresh water was available to fill our tank without a problem. The rangers and camp hosts are amazing and very helpful/informative. We have a dog and national parks can be a bit tricky but the road to the airport is a nice walk with the dog. (Right from campground) The mustard canyon and 20 mule team canyon are both excellent dog walk options. The ranger gave us a couple other options for the dog also. Spots were large and easy to back into. Some are very close together. Overall a nice campground we would stay in again. Its very central to many of the sights within Death Valley. Nearby, We found Dantes view to be worth the effort, ubehebe crater was interesting, mesquite sand dunes cool. Mustard canyon was neat and no one was there. Gas at furnace creek is double the market price. It was nearly $2 per gallon cheaper at stovepipe wells. (The gas station is privately owned)

Beautiful, convenient location. I stayed in November. Quiet As stated, flush toilets, no showers. Campsites were close together but expected. Can't beat the price!

The campgrounds are very nice. Even thought there are few trees or barriers between sites we didn't feel crowded. The bathrooms are below standard. They are poorly maintained. Molding is coming free, walls are buckling. The hand blowers don't work. Neither soap nor paper towels were provided. They have electric lights but no outlets. We preferred to walk to the visitors center (near by) instead of using the campground restrooms, this should not be the case. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I love Death Valley & as a longtime member of the 49’ers come down annually! I was terribly treated by a trainee ranger in the campground! I was driving thru campground & went down a row that was tenting & was not a thru roadway, how ever it did not say no way out, also did not say no RV’s! I had to turn around & I bumped over a plastic fold up )sandwich) type sign! Leg cracked to sign! After a camp host reported it Tanger came with Full re & blue lights to my Campsite, grating me like a convict! Made us come outside, hands out of pocket, asked if we had weapons or drugs, & asked me for all kinds of documents one at a time as I had to keep going in & out of motorhome for! She was also quite abrupt!! We are 80 & 90 yr olds & certainly not carrying drugs or weapons!! The whole scene was very embarrassing!!!’
