I like the way they enforce the rules. I, regrettably, parked inappropriately and was couteously reminded of where I needed to park. Thank you for doing that.

Nice campsites, good near vicinity birding, but too many barking dogs by numerous other campers, not quiet in the least.

The Furnace Creek campground was very nice and lots of sites are level for RV's. Restrooms were clean. The Visitors Center is a short walk along the highway. We visited in January and enjoyed the cool weather and no crowds!

it was pretty good. the camps had all necessary facilities: clean toilets, appropriate lightings, water supplies and trash disposal. This was our first camping experience and we loved it.

Campgrounds were clean and well kept. Our truck and trailer would not fit on our space so we had to park in a different location than our trailer. There were spaces right next to ours that we could have used but were told they were reserved but no one ever stayed in them :( Very inconvenient!!!!

First time to Death Valley and didnt know what to expect. We did not have any hookups but have our own water and power (solar panels).Campground very clean, nice separation of sites. Visitor center right next to campground.Restrooms with flush toilets, no showers. Also has large sinks outside to wash items. Easy drive to several view points/hikes.Expect no phone reception!

The campground at Furnace Creek had a small space and I was not allowed to park my truck off the asphalt. I moved the next day across to Sunset Campground which is all gravel, has a dump station and very few people and the view was fantastic. I don't know what the difference is parking on the gravel at Furnace Creek vs the all gravel campground at Sunset. Furnace Creek gas station was charging $6.70 for regular gas and Stovepipe Wells 22 miles away charged only $4.88. The park should prohibit the vendors from such highway robbery. I enjoyed the park and it was a beautiful place.

Great hikes in Sidewinder Canyon, Golden Canyon, and Dante View Ridge Trail to Perry Mountain.
Marathon through Titus Canyon was spectacular.

Clean facilities, clean sites, and located right in the middle of all of the places I wanted to see. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was packed with campers but amazingly quiet during "quiet-time" park hours. There were a few generators running during much of the rest of the time.

If you want to avoid the generators and enjoy a more scenic choice for the same price or less, try Texas Spring Campground. It's about 1/2 a mile south of Furnace Creek and has most of the same amenities plus no generators allowed--AND it sits up above and has great views. Texas Spring is the campground I'll return to when I pass that way again.

We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights of camping. Campsite was clean. The bathrooms were pretty dirty. Overall it was a trip that I would recommend.

Its a desert! Being from AZ Im used to it. Still, water, bathrooms and site were excellent; basic but excellent.

My wife and enjoyed our stay at Furnace Creek Campground during end of December/beginning of January. The RV spots are big and there's plenty of space between sites so there's some sense of privacy. We stayed at a non-hook up site and the ground was level, which was a surprise. The site could easily handle a 32+ foot RV, ours was only 23 feet long. The fire ring was very useful and there was a picnic table for each site. The negatives were: no hot water at the bathroom or washing areas, lack of multiple garbage areas throughout the RV area (all consolidated in the front of the RV entrance area by the ranger station, and there was a lack of direction signs to help find your RV site.Overall, I still rate the RV camp a 4 star facility for a National Park site.
