The campsite was well kept, bathrooms were clean and had two stalls and two sinks per facility. It was great to sit around a campfire and see the stars the park rightly has a dark sky designation! Also right across from the visitor center which was so convenient for getting water out of a fountain and snacks/gatorade if needed, plus maps.

Very centrally located to a number of, points of interest. Clean and numerous bathrooms and water stations. Note no showers on site. The camp site had a level parking pad and tent area. Would stay here again.

A wonderful stay at Furnace Creek. A memorable and enjoyable trip with spectacular scenery. The Visitor Center is within easy walking distance of even the most distant campsites. I found the sites to be well spaced and the desert trees, though a bit sparse, provided some privacy and a bit of shade. Restrooms and campsites were clean. The city of Pahrump is a relatively close 61 miles if supplies or fuel is needed and the resort prices seem outlandish.

Great campground with clean restrooms and a convenient dishwashing area. Campfires and barbecues were allowed, and our site had a perfect mix of sun and shade. Easy access, smooth traffic, and strong Verizon service made the stay even better. Highly recommended!

Space #56 was excellent. Nestled into the trees. The size of the pad at the site is most appropriate for a 23' RV, but because there are no rocks behind it, I was able to squeeze in a pop-up trailer that is 26.5' long when open and still keep all tires on the pavement with room for the tow vehicle (parked sideways).

The furnace creek campground is a clean and basic campground. We had a full hookup site. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The other campers were friendly. We did not ever interact with or see the campground host. Flushing toilets in the bathrooms are nice.

When I reserved the campsite, I informed them there would be 2 cars. However, my particular site only had room for one car. Hum? Seems there could be a better way to work that.Quiet hours are generally between 10pm-7am, however a large group was up until near 2am making lots of noise. Unfortunate to not have a camp host around to speak with them as they were disturbing all their neighbors.

An unbelievable oasis in the middle of nowherein fact one of the most uninhabitable places on Earth. We are so glad we visited!

Be mindful of others' need for quiet and a peaceful stay. Visit your favourite spots early or late so you enjoy the best light and use the midday hours for organizing, planning, going to the Oasis at Death Valley resort to do some shopping or grab a coffee.

Wonderful experience. Our site was compact but had plenty of shade. Early November was an ideal time to visit temperatures were moderate and the lower sun angle highlighted the beautiful colors of the park. Additionally there were no crowds!

Small site with space for multiple tents, is bordered by trees and shrubs on 2 sides for a little extra privacy. Parking space for only 1 vehicle, but there is plenty of overflow nearby. Restrooms and water are close by. Campground was fairly quiet at night even when it was full.

I love this campground! One of the cleanest bathroom and dishwash area facilities I've seen in National Park campgrounds and the staff is helpful and friendly. Plus, centrally located in the hub of the Park means that you can both enjoy the quiet and dark while also able to hit up the general store and visitor's center just down the road. Can't wait to come back!

We have stayed here so far for two nights of our three night stay, and are very pleased. This is definitely the place to stay if you want to visit death valley. Most of the major areas to visit and hiking trails are within a 30 minute drive. Most of the sites are dry camping, but there are a few available with hookups. We used a dry camping site, but that is no problem because there is a good dump station and water refill facility. The sites have nice asphalt pads, and each comes with a firing and picnic table. You can go on reservations.gov and actually see pictures of each site before you select. This place books up fast, so make sure you have your site picked out and then log on as soon as the 6-month window opens to make your reservation. Our RV is only a 23-footer, but the park and roads are very well laid out and maneuvering would be very easy, even with a large rig.Amazingly, there is a cell signal here. It works best late at night and early in the morning, but the data rates are slow. Still, we expected we would not have any communication with the outside world for several days. So, it's great to be able to keep up on things.

The campsite was great! 5 friends and I made base camp at Furnace Creek for our extended weekend adventures in Death Valley. The campground is nice and on top of the visitor's center. It is also in close proximity to many of the other great and amazing landmarks/hikes inside the park.
