Liked this campsite as we could set up the tent near some trees. Located close to two restrooms. Very neat experience to be camping so far below sea level! Campground, however, was very noisy, with other groups loudly talking, playing music, etc, well past 11pm, and starting up again at 6am.

Very comfortable campground. Would be nice to have showers. But you can get a pass at the very close resort for using their pool and showers.

We stayed at the Furnace Creek campground for 3 nights in early February. We ended up staying at 3 different sites because I couldnt book 3 consecutive nights at any one campsite. We stayed at sites 21, 80, and 40, all of which were good. However, 40 was our favorite as it was close to the bathrooms, dishwashing station, dumpster, all while being a corner site with only one neighbor. The bathrooms were clean, dishwashing stations were very convenient, and the campground was a central location within the park.

Furnace Creek Campground was a lovely spot, but I did not have any hook ups, which makes it a little difficult and I had to leave early because of the extreme wind event that happened on 7 January

The campground was as seen in pictures and the facilities were clean. Our only problem was the weather, it was too hot, imagine that. Our site did not have electric so keeping the trailer cool was very difficult. We gambled a little in going in mid April. But we did get around the area and saw most of what we could. I would go back again but only Nov - Mar.

Very conveniently located to visit many highlights in the park. Mixing tents and RVs is not ideal for tents, but the sky was still very dark and beautifully starry.

There were more trees than I expected. Very clean restrooms. It is a big park and Furnace Creek is centrally located.

Its a really beautiful campsite... the photographs online dont do it justice. At Campsite 40, we fit two large tents comfortably. Four tents could probably fit, though it would be tight. Not to mention, the two additional tents would need to setup camp on the rocks and hard ground. Our Verizon phones worked at the campsite the entire time, on Extended Network aka roaming (which is free on our plan, but call Verizon to confirm on yours, as every plan is different). Our friends had T-Mobile and their service was spotty. Overall, I recommend this campsite.

My husband went there with his friends and they all had such a great time. Very neat and clean. No showers but they were in a RV so did not matter Over all highly recommend this place

Helpful Park Rangers. Good facilities. Other than someone stealing my JetBoil Fuel and Igniter from Drive-In Lot #40 Furnace Creek is central to all sites in Death Valley
