I was very happy with our reservations and the camp site. The ability to connect to internet was possible by walking over to Visitors center.

Site 38 is 83 feet long - long enough for the largest RV's, with plenty of room for an extra vehicle and a tent on the parking pad too. Only problem with this site is that the electric, sewer, and water pedestal is behind the site rather than next to it, so you might need an extension power cable and longer than usual water and sewer hoses to reach your rig. The dishwashing station is right across the road, adjacent to site 38, and the closest restroom is 180 feet away, adjacent to sites 22/23. Site 39 has no neighbor to the south (the left side of your RV), so there is an unobstructed view in that direction.NOTE: Furnace Creek Campground no longer has trash receptacles distributed around the campground: all of the dumpsters are at the entrance; the closest dumpster is 590 feet each way to walk from Site 39.

This was our first rv trip to a national park campground. Beautiful area, good size spots, full hook-ups. We did not have tv reception, so next time will pack dvd player and dvds. Bring your own soap and towel to the restrooms! Would certainly return again.

Probably the best and nicest National Park campground we have ever visited. Large, clean, quiet, great access. It has it all!

Lucked out with Site#39 as we only had neighbors on one side. Kids had room to play without bothering others. Staff was friendly and helpful and other campers seemed respectful of rules. Great visit!

Dec is a great time to visit Death Valley, comfortable weather and spectacular geology and scenery. Make sure you have full fuel tanks! Concession fuel station piece gouges diesel - 20 miles outside park was >$2 less than Furnace Creek station at $7.55!
