Clean campground. Almost all campers understood about this being a dark sky environment and limited outdoor lighting. Nice location close to visitor center and WiFi.

The park is beautiful. The only thing better would be more rangers at the park. Its such a beautiful place and so large. More of ark ranger would definitely help keep it more safe.

My only problem i have is trying to reserve hook up sites at Furnace Creek campground. I have tried often when they are first available with no success. You should consider a lottery system for those sites.

We stayed in site 36 which had no hookups. Had a great view of the eastern mountains. Campground very clean and well organized. The hours of the check-in station were very short, so before 9 and after 4:30 there was no one to check you in or answer questions. The dump station is closed for the rest of this season but there were others we used on the main road and in the other campground. Would stay here again and try for a FHU site.

Nice campground we were in a non hookup site. Only there for a few days so not a problem.Quiet at night minimal generator noise during the day.Showers were unavailable as was the dump station. There was another dump station close by and showers were available at the Inn up the road for a price. I dont know the charge as we didnt need them.Great location to see everything in the park.

Furnace Creek is desert camping. The campsites are flat and the parking pads are all paved, but nearly all the sites are dry camping. Furnace Creek is centrally located to the most popular areas. It's 20 miles to the Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes, 10 minutes to Zabriskie Point (a great place to watch/photograph the sunrise), 20 minutes to Badwater, and 5 minutes from the restaurant, saloon, and gift shop at the Ranch at Death Valley. Golden Canyon and Mosaic Canyon are excellent hiking areas; also within 25 miles of Furnace Creek.
Great location with clean, well maintained facilities. Fresh water available to all campers. I would recommend this location and will stay here on my next visit.

Great staff, nice place. It would be nice to be farther from the RVs. More tents, fewer vehicles! But pretty, clean, convenient, amazing.

The park is clean all sites are paved. The only issue I have was a bat flew into our camp one night and appeared to be very sick. It slept under a table and was there in the morning. I told two park rangers and neither took control of the situation which I found very concerning. If it was rabid and a child or pet came in contact with it they could get sick or bitten. I finally moved it to the brush away from harms way. Hissing and flapping. This is a National Park.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
