The sites are right on top of one another, many RVers leave their outside lights on all night which ruins the ability to stargaze, and despite there being lno issue for me to sleep in my van, a campground employee came by in the morning being incredibly rude because I didn't set up a tent. The campground employee was so rude it ruined our day and we left. This was on the last day of the season, there were lots of open spaces and everything was first come first served for the REST OF THE YEAR - but she felt it necessary to berate us because instead of setting up a tent, one of use slept open air on the ground, and the other in a van that was parked in the site.

We were at 101. The area where you place the tent (that fits 2 people in it) has trees forming an arch and there wasn't a lot of headroom for the tent. So, we setup the tent in the open area near the picnic table and fire pit, so we could see the stars as well. There were a bit of tiny rocks on it. So, maybe you need to clear a few rocks before you set up the tent. The tent site faces North. The washrooms were very close to the camp site and were clean and had flushable toilets. Had accessible parking spot as well.

Campground clean. No electric for many sites and no showers was ok, but not easy for a three day stay. Visitor center is filled with great displays and information.

I just stayed in a tent camp site for one night. It was a great experience.
