First night we were next to a tent group and they were literally in our bedroom plus the noise of the air conditioning of our neighbour, we didnt sleep well . Second site , a photographer rent the site next to our and pop in and out her truck all night and left around 4 am. Last night was finally better except for the lights of late comers directly in our van.

We had a wonderful visit. Such a pretty place. Unfortunately many areas were closed due to a recent storm/flooding event. But pretty cool to see standing water in formerly dry creek beds. Perfect temperature there in the winter. Our entire Hitched4fun com crew had a blast.

Facility is located close to many must see sights. Visitor center is right next door. Multiple dining opportunities and small store near by. Sites are level and arranged for some seclusion depending on camping type (Tent, Van, Camper, RV). All is kept exceptionally clean. Coyote are the critters of the area, but the visitors have done well to not encourage bad behavior. It was very quite early in the evening and most keep the lighting low so people can enjoy star gazing. Park staff are fantastic.

The location of this campground to major sights is very convenient. We stayed in site 76, and it was perfectly level which was great. Had to watch the reservations to get a site with hookups, but it was well worth it. The rangers at the entrance to the campground were extremely nice and helpful. Loved the drinking water stations, and that this campground was right next to the visitor center. Would gladly return here if needed. Only downside is cell service (Verizon) is essentially nonexistent, so prepare for that.

We had a pull through site with hookups (#76). It was very clean and the electric and water were accessible. Hopefully the NPS will add hookups to more sites as they are way too limited at present. Also, I recommend you avoid entering or leaving via Hwy 190 off of US 395. Steep grades and sharp curves make for a very slow trip. We travelled with friends who took Hwy 127 out of Baker, CA. Although this is a longer route, our friends arrived about 10 minutes after us. The ride on 127 is much friendlier to RV's.

We had a great time at Furnace Creek. The location was convenient and close to many of the sights we wanted to see during our 2-day trip to Death Valley. The spots were easy to get into with our camper, the staff was friendly, and the views were beautiful. The visitor center is right next door as well, very convenient. I have Verizon and I didn't really have reliable cell service anywhere in the park (it said 3G but it basically didn't work), which wasn't bad, it's nice to be off the phone, but just be aware of that. Overall, great experience, highly recommend.

Only complaint I had was the sound of a loud machine that runs all night. It's not a generator. I've heard it camping there before. Have no idea where the noise comes from (airport?). Other than that, Death Valley is an interesting place to visit.

Nice campground. We are full-time RVers pulling a 45-foot toyhauler. We were able to access a full hookup site very easily. Perfect location for exploring Death Valley. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed in Site# 76. It's always the same when I come here and stay in one of the full hookups sites. It's clean, everything works and quiet. Always love It's proximity to the Furnace Creek Ranch and it's facilities. 5 minute lazy walk to the store & restaurant. The site is paved. Not perfectly level but level enough to not require extensive leveling specially if staying for just 1 night. Water pressure is very strong so rv's are wise to make sue to use a regulator. Power is pretty stable according to my surge protector / EMS system. Sewer connection is clean. Restrooms are clean

Spaces were very large, with a paved parking area for RVs which is nice in a national park.

Sites more spacious than Id expected. Bathrooms clean but many were out of hand foam. Minimal ranger or host presence in campground. Actually saw several tent campers come over to electrical sites to recharge things after original occupants left site. Wish there were showers as the shower/pool pass at the Ranch is up to $14/person. Excellent proximity to Visitor Center and Ranch. They stamp your passport for you in gift shop which is the only place that has ever happened in my visits to ~30 parks!
