Spacious campground. Site #85 is located in the middle of the grounds in one of the loops. There are campsites on each side but it did not feel crowded. This site does not have any trees (in case you need shade during the day). Good distance to RRs. RRs are clean. It was generally quiet at night, the only noise came from a compressor or some type of large unit next to the visitors center. It is on all night. It didnt bother me but my partner said it as louder than expected.

What a surprise Death Valley was for us! Incredibly beautiful, varied and awe-inspiring landscape. Furnace Creek campground was nice...we did not have hookups in our site. However, plenty of generator hours were permissible. The campground is central to so much to explore in this large national park. And, it is walkable to the old resort area where you find dining, ice cream and other shops. Our three nights were not enough to fully explore this park - we do plan to return!

Everything was great -- the campground was quiet, everyone was respectful of each other, had everything we needed.

Good basic campground. Garbage dumpsters only at the exit to the campground. Walking distance to stores and restaurants.

We loved our stay at this campsite. It doesnt look like much at first, but its clean, laid out well, great park staff, and incredible views at night. We will definitely stay here again!

Good park, sites are ample in size. Down side is no on-site dump for two seasons running now....very inconvenient. Fix it please.

Very nice campground right in the middle of furnace creek. It is walking distance to the visitors center, the 19th hole golf course grill and bar, and the furnace creek ranch. The toilets and washing stations were clean and in good order. Be aware that there are no shower facilities, nor can you put water on the ground (so no solar showers). If you want to shower you need to buy a pool pass at the Furnace Creek Ranch, or Stovepipe Wells. The sites are level and have picnic tables and fire rings. The tent campsites in the back have a bit of growth between sites, but the RV sites are all out in the open. So no shade! It was windy when we were there, so we just sat in the shade of the trailer. The area is surrounded by mountains, and sunrises and sunsets are spectacular.

The campground is clean and well maintained. Water is available at stations located around the sites but designed to prevent hose attachment. Generator hours unfortunately end at 7pm, but heat continues for a few more hours.

Well designed campground. Sites are spacious and oriented well. Well located campground for access to D.V. Site seeing. Facilities in good repair. We enjoyed our stay and would return to Furnace Creek.

Campsites are very close together. There's plenty of room in one of the largest national parks in the country, but the campsites are packed very close together. Our firepit was around 1 meter from our neighbors massive rv.

Great location. Our site had both bathroom and dishwashing sink close by. No hot water and no showers are available, but price of site is very reasonable.
