More space than we expected and more for the kids to do than we expected. Our spot was tucked in from the wind, which was nice.

This place is clean and safe. However, the mechanical noise coming from the resort beyond the fence woke me up early in the morning and disturbed the peaceful morning for quite some time.

Camping was great. Weather was good, no wind, rain, or snow. A shame so many roads were washed out but that's nature.

Despite the extreme wind event occurring, we had a very nice campsite. No complaints. Wifi available at the visitor center and at restaurants at the ranch.

Fantastic campground. Had a spot in the trees with nice coverage. The bathrooms were very clean and the dish washing station was so convenient. Stars gazing was wonderful. We visited the sandunes, Salt flats, and mosaic slot canyon. Fantastic experience, wish we had more than a day. Will be back.

I gave the campsite 4 stars b/c the bathroom hand dryers didnt work. There was also no soap in the bathrooms, just hand sanitizer. Our family brought our own soap, so it wasnt a big deal. The tent campsite was nice, there was an area where we can set up the tent under the trees, but we chose to set up just outside the tree area. The kids enjoyed climbing up all the trees. The dish washing station was big, 4 spigots on each side and the visitor center was walking distance from the campsite.

This campsite is well maintained, with clean flush toilets and a sink washing station.If you need to extend your stay at Furnace Creek, it's worth asking at the entrance booth in the morning about no-shows.The best campsites for tents (no RVs, no generators, trees) are in the tent-only loop, e.g. site 109 and surrounding sites.

Enjoyed the site, clean bathrooms, and site seeing. The hosts and rangers are very friendly.

Excellent site. Too much winnehogo generator noise from within NPS Campground. And aversive, intrusive, loud generator noise from the nearby Ranch Campground.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were well kept, and we loved our little nook under the trees in site 108. The sites in that area of the campground are a little crowded, but we still felt like we had enough privacy and had quiet, respectful neighbors. Also, being able to pull your car up as close as you want to your table or tent was a really nice benefit of those sites.

You need to put garbage cans near the campground. People have to drive a fair distance just to put garbage away. This is bad for the environment.

This may be the worst national park campsite I have ever stayed at. For as much barren landscape as Death Valley encompasses, they could not have made these sites any smaller. Our chairs were next to our fire pit but literally in the site next to us. No idea why they made the sites so small. They also don't have dumpsters spread out throughout the campsite so if you want to be a responsible camper and secure your trash at night you have to exit the campground. If you are going to stay at Death Valley, I would recommend site 108 because it had a huge flat area under the tress which provided excellent shade. Even in spring, it was HOT.

The campsite was fantastic, the tree cover helped protect us against the high winds. We were pretty close to our neighbors but it wasn't too bad as everyone was nice and polite.
@RichM629 · Camped on Dec 27, 2021 at Campsite #108
Site 108 was level for a roof top tent and the fire ring and table were also level. There are trees next to the site so there would be some shade on the hotter days. The bathrooms were clean and private with a night light. The water worked well for cleaning cookware and refilling water containers. There are numerous easy as well as strenuous hiking trails within a short driving distance if you want to hike trails with beautiful canyons and vistas. The only issue was with RVs not turning off their generators. One RV was so loud that I had to use earplugs to muffle the loud fluctuating generator sounds. My hope was that the camp host would have notified the offending RVs about turning off the generators. However, on the 2nd night one of the same RVs left the generator on all night again. Another RV arrived late and parked between me and another tent camper even though it was designated only for tents. Overall, it is a nice campground.

Furnace Creek is a nice campground. The area is well maintained and the restroom facilities are adequate. Our site was close to Airport Road and we were awaken by some heavy equipment noises at 6 am on two mornings. We were surprised the lights in the bathrooms were shut off at about 10 at night. That was both a good and bad.
