Need trash cans within the campground, when power outages occur you could extend generator hours past 7pm. Otherwise the campground was awesome.

My hubby and I ebiked every day and there are so many great places to do that. Borax mines. Green Valley road (by Dantes peak). Artist Drive or Artist Pallette. -- We wish Titus canyon was open, but maybe in 2 years. Also a few other roads were closed that we ebiked last year due to the floods, but we understand. -- I recommend people watch a LOT of YouTubes of what to do in Death Valley -- ALSO, this might be morbid -- but read up on what "NOT TO DO" .PLEASE have tons of water in your vehicle at all times and sleeping bags or blankets, in case you get stuck. For adventurers - get an InReach or some other GPS device to keep you safe. -- Again, I can't stress how drinking a lot of water is important. Without trying, it's easy to get dehydrated. You need to drink 2-3 times more water than you do at home! Also buy books on what to do and for sure visit the visitor center & watch the movies. I appreciate that the prices on t-shirts and items at the gift shop seemed more affordable. Thank you DVNP!That's all for now!

It's a decent campground, but as with most NP campgrounds, sites are pretty close together. And being the desert, noise carries. Even a CG group across the road and two away, who weren't being loud, were heard very clearly. But, that's kind of expected on a weekend in a NP CG. Other than that, the facilities were extremely clean and water was readily available. I'd stay here again if necessary. My first choice would be a smaller place up a canyon (it was closed) or backcountry.

Campground was nice. Did not realize it had full hook ups which was a nice surprise. There were storms and lost power after the first night. We left early because they had no idea when power would come back on. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Getting harder to get into if you want a full-hookup spot. Clean campground, lots to do...just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for anything in the store or for ice cream. Campers can't use the pool anymore, so that's a bummer.

We love Death Valley and staying at Furnace Creek Campground is a great central location. The campground is very well maintained with some trees for shade. It's really hard to get reservations so plan far in advance. Don't miss a drive through Titus Canyon and always enjoy the night sky.

Fabulous time!! Great location. Big sites. The dump station was closed due to upgrades, but there is a dump site on the highway across from the Ranch. Beautiful sunsets. Great neighbors. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Furnace Creek campground is a well maintained park, centrally located and easily walkable/bike-able to shops, restaurants and the NP Visitors Center. Some full hook up sites are available. I found it odd that there were tents occupying some of the FHU sites, not RVs and plenty of tent sites available. Also some multiple days unoccupied sites with FHU the could have been filled. My opinion, they should improve their cancelation and no show policy, enabling the empty sites to be utilized. Death Valley has many self guided hiking trails, 4wd treks and low clearance vehicle roads accessible. Telescope Peak, Marble Canyon , 20 Mule Team Rd, to name just a few. The Park Rangers insure the public follow the rules while camping. Wood fires are allowed. Scottys Castles remained closed for repairs and maybe reopened in 2022. Be prepared to pay close to $7 a gallon for gas. Sunsets are beautiful at the Oasis Inn at the top of the hill. Enjoy an (In Fashion) cocktail from their bar, sit outside and take in the spectacular panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Also take a dip in the warm spring pool. Perfect temperature. We were there in November.

Beautiful place to be during Spring time, crowd was small , temp was perfect for hikes and scenic drives, nights were cleared for stargazing, overall good experience. On the side note, we stayed in our RV at Furnace Creek, there was some constructions going on behind the campground, it woke us up during the night, I can only imagine the noise would be much worse if staying in a tent.
