We typically hike in Death Valley. This time we got a pass for the pool for $14. We spent a lot of time in the warm spring water. We chatted with people from Oregon. It was a wonderful experience.

Pull-through site with hook-ups was very spacious and clean. Always enjoy the park in early spring.

Great camping site, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Right next to the Visitor center which is walking distance neighbor to neighbor.

Probably the best National Park campground we have ever visited. Clean, large sites, spread apart. Well maintained and so quiet!

Stayed here in 2017 and had a great experience, but our Jan 2023 experience was a whole different matter. This was the loudest and roudiest national park campground I have ever stayed at. Other campers had no respect for their neighbors with slamming car doors, screaming children, blaring stereos, car alarms, and just simply loud people well past quiet hours. Granted, I haven't camped at a national park since the beginning of the pandemic, and I know there has been a surge of people getting into camping and visiting our national parks, but this was ridiculous. Had reservations for 7 days, but we checked out early and came home because it was just so miserable. We'll forgo the power hookup next time and camp across the street or over at Stovepipe Wells next time....those places were not crowded, and quiet.

Furnace Creek was a beautiful, easy campground. Pleasantly surprised to have full hook-up at our site as we were only expecting electrical. I don't recall the website saying there was full hook-up when booking so it would be helpful to ensure it does say this for those sites with complete amenities like this. The drive in and out of Death Valley is quite the trek with the extremes of high and low elevation as well as very twisty roads in places. Might be something to consider if you are planning a trip to ensure your vehicle can cope with these elements. However, it is certainly worth the effort. An amazing place!

We were looking for a quick one night get away to initiate our new camper and were able to find a good site for the one night stay quickly and at a great price. It was very efficient checking into the park and getting to the camp site and we enjoyed the evening with a quick cookout and some star watching. No muss or fuss or hassle, just time to enjoy our evening!

First time at Death Valley. Spot 72, a pull through with full hookups. Dump station was closed, but you can always dump at am empty full hookup spot. Nice visitor center that has lots of information on the history of DV. Gas and diesel available, but the most expensive in the US, according to gasbuddy.com. We came in from the 395 to Trona road, filled up at Trona, and that lasted us the 3 days in DV, driving around to the trails and "must see" sites. Went out the 190/127 to Baker and had enough fuel to get there towing the 5th wheel. Will do it again in the winter.

Great location for your DV adventure. Campground was well kept and clean. Only thing missing were showers.

Very nice and clean campground. We had a full hook up site with as level concrete pad.
Lots to do around the campground. The Furnace Visitor Center is a quick walk next door.

We appreciated the Camp Volunteer who pedaled Furnace Creek from morning until dusk. He ensured campers were following camp rules.

Check in times & dates are vey user friendly.
So many things to do in Death Valley. Photography, history, amazing views, hiking for all levels of walking or plenty of views accessible by car. Campground water and dish washing stations excellent. BAthrooms clean.
Stores are well supplied. Post office helpful staff.
1st week in March was very surprisingly uncrowded at all sites and camp spots, even though reservations at
Furnace Creek hard to get. Be sure to check for site availability every day, several times as new openings come up on a regular basis. Texas Springs looks to be a very nice option for first come, first served.

for the campground great location, easy access, very clean and well maintained, great staff.
The cell service was 5 bar 3G AT&T, but the actual bandwidth was slow, understandable in the middle of "away from it all".

Finding the entrance to the campground was a little difficult, especially at night but after that it was all smooth sailing. Check in at the kiosk was efficiently done by the courteous attendant. We were fortunate to have one of the few full hook-up spots in the campground. Site (#72) was spacious and very long that would fit any huge RV/trailer and enough space for a tow. Quite a distance from our neighbors. The whole campground was clean and well-maintained. Absolutely enjoyed our two-night stay there. Furnace Creek Visitor Center is just a short walk away. Make sure to get up early for the sunrise at around 7:00. Stunning!
