Clean bathrooms, large wash stations. Sites were close together. Quiet and well kept up campground.

We were rented a spot too small for our 22 foot trailer. (Map was wrong) Ranger at booth found us another spot we fit in and let us move. All rangers were polite and helpful

Big, clean campsite. There are two lanes coming in. The leftmost lane is required for check-in and the right is once you are already checked in.We stayed in site 54 which was largely asphalt and shared a firepit with site 55. Fortunately our site mates did not want their fire ring. The only spot to pitch a tent here is ina dry creekbed and was subject to wild winds that bent and broke our tent poles.Other than that, it was great.

Ive never stayed in a campground that had their stuff together!!! They helped me get a closer sight to our friends and followed up with us. They knew the surrounding area really well road closures. Oh my God I have never stayed at such a wonderful, clean, beautiful campground.!!

The Rangers and the Campground hosts all get 10's. They are helpful, friendly and polite. The campground, bathrooms, etc are always well kept and working. Hats off to a continuing great team. However, the contractor side of the experience is at most one star. It boggles my mind that after spending 10s of millions of dollars on new facilities that the need to make your guest comfortable escapes your focus. A guest at Furnace Creek is limited to where they can go to eat. The restaurant and the buffet at the campground or the restaurant at the resort on the hill. It's a long, long trip to go anywhere else. I can't comment on the restaurant at resort on the hill but I certainly can on the other two. The buffet: I made two attempts to eat there. It was not bad, it was worse than bad. At breakfast there were only a handful of trays with food in them. Three trays were empty except for a few scraps. It was 7:30 am. The food was poorly prepared and cold, cold, cold. I stuck my finger in the water in the steam table. It was cold as well so there was not even an attempt to keep the food warm. I was in the military and lived in a college dorm and both of those facilities were light years ahead of your buffet. The restaurant at Furnace Creek. A definite improvement over last year. The burgers were superb. Gourmet by every definition. The prices, though still steep, were certainly more in line than in the past. Bottom line is this. When guests come to Furnace Creek they are at the mercy of you and your staff. Their experiences in the Park, with the Park Rangers, the Campgrounds, etc, is going to be great. However, the experience they are going to talk about when they go back home will be how shortsighted management must be to destroy such a wonderful experience by failing so miserably with the food service. You're never going to fill those beautiful cabins until you complete the rest of the experience for your guest.

IT WAS AWESOME. Walk-in tent sites 134-140 are out-of-this-world.
