Amazing campsite with unforgettable views all around. Well kept campground, spacious sites with clean bathrooms. The built in diswashing counters are the most convenient. We had a fantastic time.

We like it here, especially in winter, because its a little warmer than in Vegas. We always get a spot with hookups, just because we stay a little bit longer. We love coming here to relax, the reason why I gave it 3 stars this time is because we were pretty close to the bathrooms, and unfortunately there were a lot of tent campers. So we could not really sit outside relaxed because it was always loud, people talking loud, a lot of people walking past us pretty much the whole evening. We will come again, but we wont book this spot anymore. I think it was 78. This spot should be discounted a little, so that people can decide if they want to pay less for a bathroom spot or more for a more quiet spot. Other than that I love staying at Furnace Creek

Beautiful national park with very basic camping. Overall, the campground was a perfect base for exploring. But we had a couple issues with the park staff / infrastructure that made us question whether to stay again. First, there was a park-wide power outage at some point during the day, during our stay. Nobody informed us, leaving us with dead batteries in the middle of the night; and then the park accepted no responsibility and charged us for our full hookups despite having no power for a full day. Then, we wanted to extend our stay in an open spot for an additional two nights. Their wifi was down, and they told me recreation.gov was unreliable, so they chose a spot that they had open for us, and said wed be fine for two nights. The following morning, they kicked us out of the spot as someone else apparently had it booked previously. Again, they blamed it on recreation.govs faulty/incompatible booking system & the park-wide wifi issues. As a customer, I couldnt believe how they kept attributing blame to themselves, in essence, yet accepting no responsibility. Very frustrating.

It was a great place to stay for a week and use as a base camp for our activities in the park. Our site accommodated our 42ft 5th wheel.

Furnace Creek is very popular and often over-crowded. Although there are restroom and water facilities that are cleaned a few times a week they are over-used. This is the most popular campgrounds in Death Valley and it needs some upgrades and better organization to handle the crowds or more limitations on the number of visitors and camp sites.

Full hook-up sites at Furnace Creek campground are quite limited, but we were lucky enough to get one. It was fabulous - spacious, level, picnic table, and fire pit. The stars at night are unreal. We were walking distance from the visitors center and easy driving distance from some of the best sites. We must return for a longer stay.

Every gov employee I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. There was some confusion regarding the sewer availability...we were told the dump station didn't work...but, I was not certain if our site dump still was available (it was, but I didn't know it until I went and asked). I liked that we could have a campfire...my friends across the street at sunset campground could not have a campfire. Being able to walk to the visitor center was really nice. Plus centrally located for all the 4wheeling we did. We will definitely come back again!

Awesome campground, only one problem: a high noise in the night, perhaps an engine.
