The campground was perfect. We stayed in site 137 and it was an easy distance from our car and to the bathrooms. I loved the easy access to the Visitor Center and the General Store. I was worried about hard ground and having difficulty with stakes, but the ground was soft enough for easy staking of our tent. We enjoyed the central location of Furnace Creek and wouldnt hesitate to stay in the walk in tents sites again.

Such a beautiful park with plenty of adventure to be had. Too bad it is so hard to get a camping spot. Online registration has its downsides. So many "no shows". There are people needing to find a campsite for the night. There are plenty of sites available because of the "no shows," but the current system doesn't allow for giving "no show" sites out. The campground will have a FULL sign when it's not at all full. In my opinion, the online registration for campsites does not serve the people.Death Valley is such an awesome place. I only wish more families could enjoy it by having a place to spend the night when there are clearly spots available.

Easy to find, clean tent area, bathrooms needed attention but we were there on a Xmas so, we knew not a lot of people might work. Helpful rangers but, I wish they would have told us more about hiking areas. Overall great experience, I am coming back next year.

Great central location in Death Valley NP! Stayed one night and loved the site, had a small tree to pitch the tent under which was perfect. Facilities were clean. Grabbed sandwiches at the visitor center to eat while hiking and got food that night at the Ranch close by. Looking at the other campgrounds this one was a great pick due to the trees and ground for pitching a tent.

A lot has been changed since we camped here last time. Water, dish washing facility, restrooms, campsite orientation etc. Which is really good in a way. But at the same time, people are not cleaning up after they are doing their dishes. I ended up cleaning couple of times. I understand the resources are limited due to pandemic. Probably less volunteers as camp hosts, and lots of people who does not belong to a "National Parks" , simply because they don't treat them as 'our park' are here.
Accommodation for showers are great.
