Mid-March, and it was HOT! Fortunately, our tent campsite had some shade where we found refuge from the sun for several hours every day. We did most of our sightseeing early in the morning and late afternoon and early evening. The campsites are quite small; you can hear your neighbors chatting in their tent or at their picnic table. Fortunately, everyone kept quiet hours during our visit.Complaints: 1) The dishwashing/gray water disposal sinks were filthy and didn't appear to be cleaned at all during our 4-night stay. 2) Someone came to clean the restrooms once, as far as I could tell. The toilet paper was replenished and one of the two sinks appeared to have been cleaned, but the floor remained unswept/unwashed.Death Valley National Park surprised me with its immensity and its stark and varied beauty. We were lucky enough to see lots of wildflowers during a Superbloom year (be aware that a Superbloom in the desert isn't on the same scale as one near the ocean or in the mountains, but all those flowers in an arid and hot desert are amazing).

Campsite 107 was fantastic. I personally think it was one of the best around. There was shade, and enough greenery to give you semi privacy from your neighbors. The restrooms and clean drinking water were both in view from the campsite, but not too close as to provide added foot traffic. Loved it!

Sites 107 and 108 were absolutely great. Some other sites were tiny, more like a parking lot. But these 2 had trees and space.

Campsite provided great spots to set up the tents with wind shelter. Plenty of room around the tent only sites.

I love the Furnace Creek campground in Death Valley and its dark skies. HOWEVER, there were three patriots flying flags (all good) BUT with blinking lights at the top of the flag poles that rotated from red to white to blue. I did go over once to try to talk with them but all were out and about. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE at a dark sky location. Several times I got up in the middle of the night and those three blinking lights really detracted from looking around the sky. If there isn't a rule against these blinking night lights, there needs to be one. If there is a rule, it needs to be enforced. Ideally, my fellow patriots, please consider other citizens and turn off the lights or, even, don't fly a flag if that involves such lights in dark sky locations.

If the the Campground is sparsely populated it could be great. As it is, the sites are very close to one another. We stayed in the tent only sites and because of how close the sites are and optimal tent sites, you end up being about 10ft away from your neighbors. There was was nice shade cover from the trees there, but you don't get that every campsite. Would highly recommend looking at satellite imagery.Made a good base of operations though to visit various areas if the park. Gas and other amenites are close, but expect prices to be steep.

Perfect location and amenities, but there was a random beeping at night that made it impossible to sleep - not sure if it was coming from the nearby gas station or where.

Had a lovely time and the rangers at the visitor Centre were very helpful and informative. My only thought would be is to have some garbage containers at more convenient locations throughout the campground as its a long walk over to the entrance if your in the tent camping area.

Has everything you need (water, electricity, flush bathrooms, firepits and picnic table) for a good camping experience. Several spots also have some trees and brush to provide some privacy. It was pretty quiet (there was only one night somebody was playing music, but that ended pretty early). Centrally located and works for somebody new to camping. It's a bit sandy and dusty so be prepared when there are windstorms.

Beautiful shady semi-private campsite within walking distance of the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. Very clean and well kept campground. Would appreciate it if they would provide hand soap in the restrooms. Also the location of the trash dumpsters made it difficult to haul trash from the campsite. Other than that the experience was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome park. And great tent campsites with no sun most of the day. Convenient to most of the day trips that could be planned And it wasn't even that hot. Will definitely go back again.

As always, this is one of our favorite destinations, and the tent camping is always so pleasant and quiet. However, this trip included a very loud and rowdy party group at the end of the tent-only sites that lasted late into the nights were there (one night until 2 a.m.), with light shows and music and loud screaming and yelling. Some of those in attendance drove to participate, so there was extra traffic and the restroom was over crowded by these visitors.

Awesome tent sites, shaded and close to the bathrooms. Centrally located in the park to enjoy many of the parks must see sites. I would camp there again!
