Weather was almost perfect. Campground staff were friendly and efficient. Took my grandsons to the bottom of Ubehebe Crater and we finally made it to the big sand dune at Stovepipe Wells. Also did the usual, Devils Golf Course, Badwater, and the natural bridge. From other visits I'd recommend Salt Creek and Scotty's Castle when it re-opens. If you have time, a side trip to Ash Meadows NWR to see the Devils Hole and natural springs (check at the vistor's center to see where the desert pupfish are visible).

Area is stunning and the colors change constantly. Hiking trails are amazing. If you are a golfer, the golf course is a must.

Reservations were easy to make on Recreation.gov. The campground is very clean and our site (038) was plenty long enough for our trailer and vehicle. There were no hookups at this site, but across the road water and a dump station were available. Cell service in the area is an issue as the only carrier in Death Valley is CommNet. We use T-Mobile for our carrier, and apparently they do not have an agreement with CommNet to provide service, as we had no internet service. However, there is Wi-Fi available at the Visitor Center, which is next to the campground. Wi-Fi service is also available at the Oasis adjacent to the campground.

Potable water close to camp sites, very clean bathrooms. We stayed one night, no complaints.

Nice big sites with plenty of space to spread out a campsite. Bathrooms well maintained and great amenities close by at the resort.

March was a great time to visit. We did have a few days of rain and cold temperatures but when the sun came out it was still cool enough to go for multiple hikes in a day. We highly recommend Natural Arch, Golden Canyon including Red Cathedral, Mosaic Canyon and Dantes View. All stunning.

This is an excellent site for anyone bringing a large RV, or someone car camping with a tent. You can set up your tent on the back end of the paved parking pad, which helps prevent damage to the tent floor, and still have plenty of room on the pad for your vehicle. Tents up to 10 x 14 feet fit perfectly. There are no trees on the south side of the pad, so it's perfect for setting up a solar panel on the ground. The restroom is 70 feet away, right behind the site, and the dishwashing station is only 45 feet away to the north. The Visitor Center is an easy stroll, about 750 feet from the campsite. On two separate trips, we had a 10x14 tent, a 28 foot class "C" motorhome, and a Prius, all parked on the pad. Highly recommended.

It rained with snow on the surrounding peaks made for a once in a lifetime experience. We plan on returning and spending more time in the park.

Nice, clean, convenient. Maybe a tad warm but...

The Park is wonderful. We came for the dark skies and were not disappointed. One thing -- the lights at the visitor center could maybe have shades on the sides, or maybe just a different design, so that the light does not shine anywhere but down. It would improve the darkness and thus improve the dark sky experience. We love Death Valley National Park and will come back in the future.

Nice campground. The dump station was out of order so everyone had to use one station by the overflow lot.
