Not a whole lot of privacy, as we could still hear our neighbors and the campsites are pretty close together. We did have shade though and put our tents near it.

Facility was clean and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, there were many sites that didn't adhere to the campground's quiet hours.

VERY windy - took down our tent, but lovely otherwise :). Bring shade if you can, there are some shorter mequite trees in the area but not a lot of shade otherwise.

The Rangers at the Visitor's Center were helpful and polite. The Center was well organized and I also enjoyed the short video about Death Valley. The reserved parking for the walk-in campground was near the assigned campsite. All in all, it was a great experience.

Really really enjoyed our time at this campground. The campsite was clean and spacious and had plenty of running water. The only thing I felt was missing was better signage. I missed the turn for the campsite twice, and then had some trouble finding my exact site. Nevertheless it was good, and very nice that each campsite had at least some shade!

Great camp ground. We booked a month out. The choices were very limited on time and location so we planned a shorter trip. More than 50 percent of the camp spots were open. Our trip could have been better if others would make a commitment and keep the commitment. At least communicate that you cant as soon as known. A site volunteer shared that most open spots are no shows. Please let them know when your plans change. Youll even get money back. If you dont need the money then donate it to the park service. They could rent the spot and make more money.

Lovely campground in the middle of death Valley. Spots are large and have some cover. Parking spots are oddly assigned, but still work. The allowance of dogs makes for very annoying barking. Cell phone coverage is ample, but hardly works with many people around

We really liked being able to camp in a walk-in area reserved for tents, rather than fitting our tent in between RVs. The only two downsides were (1) having a very noisy group camped near us the first night, and (2) the campground host was very unresponsive to our complaint about a broken faucet that was gushing water for hours in the dish-washing area.

Has every You need for camping with family. Just go to visitor center and get list of must sees. Drinks LOTS of water.

Our walk-in campsite had more shade than expected and the views of the stars at night were incredible.

The location near the middle of the park made our daily excursions very accessible. The visitor center and the resort around the corner made getting our Junior Ranger badges and ice very convenient too.

The campground restrooms were clean and the large sinks outside made doing dishes a little less of a chore compared to many of the places we've camped in the past.

We had a great time at Furnace Creek and the facilities were overall clean and functioning very well. The views from this location are fantastic and you get a great show during sunsets. Our only complaint was there were a few VERY loud parties that had absolutely no regard for fellow campers. Someone also clogged one of the 2 drinking water basins with their old food scraps on our first night and it was never cleaned during our entire stay (4 days).

Great campground! Had everything we needed, in a great location. Had clean restrooms and the walk in sites were very close to the parking. Would stay again!

We were in a tent site.1) Wonderful clean campsite with plenty of separation between sites. Many other sites visible because of sparse vegetation.2) Outdoor sinks to wash dishes3) Mobile phone service, but very low bandwidth4) NO Signs about Masks on restroom doors. Other campgrounds we have been in have these large notices.5) 2 Large Groups (one with about 20 people) gathered nearby. They were close together with no masks. Campground staff did not intervene.6) Confusion about when the campground was closing due to COVID. Sign on bathroom door only said "May Close, check social media" Due to limited bandwidth this was not very possible. We had to ask staff.
