January is a great time to visit the Park but even then, it was hard to get a reservation. We had to change to 3 different sites but were happy to be able to stay. The Campground was very clean and convenient. Staff were very helpful. We appreciated the concrete pads for our 34 ft Class A. We will definitely stay again.

Furnace Creek campground was a pleasant campsite. It was nice to have a fire ring, table, and close access to bathroom. Also so close to the visitor center and in the heart of the park.

The location was nice and central, and the campground itself was very easy to navigate. If youre looking for a rustic experience of feeling right in the middle of nature, this isnt it, though. It was nice to have smooth, level ground for parking, and the amenities were all totally fine, but the road and visitors center are very close. Not a bad trade off, but good to be aware.

Came in Mid-December 2023. It was high 70s - low 40s. It was a great site! Flushing toilets and running water for washing dishes. Spaces were spaced well enough apart.

East facing campsite so be prepared for the heat as soon as the sun comes up. Other than that, a great site that's close to the bathrooms and sink.

Second time at Furnace Creek Campground, loved it . Clean restrooms, great hosts and rangers, felt very safe which is very important for me. I had site #34 and its definitely a good one, cell service wasnt great , only early early morning when no one was on it, I have AT&T .

Where else can you see from almost 300 feet below sea level to over 11,000 feet up! The name "Death Valley" scares a lot of people who miss out on all the amazing sights in the valley as well as among the hills, canyons, and mountains.

We stayed in site 34 which was nice. There wasnt anyone directly on one side and there arent any sites across from us so you had a nicer view of the sky. The bathroom wasnt too far from us either. The camp host came around and told us to expect wind that night and it was nice that she did because it really did get windy! We had picked up all our stuff so it wouldnt blow away. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Definitely the nicest campground in the park. Our tent site had a cottonwood tree for some shade and view of the mountains. Only downfall was that the bathrooms did not have soap and hand sanitizer dispensers were empty for the three days of our stay. No showers onsite either.

Campground was clean and quiet. Activities are closer by, walking distance to the visitors center. Dump station was closed though!

Facilities were clean and there were some trees that offered some shade. Warning that there would be no privacy from neighbors given the bare layout of the campsite and no respite from the 50 mph winds at night. We barely got sleep as the winds were so loud and the tent walls were bending so much they were slapping against our legs.

Everything was just great. Especially the campsite I had. You open your tent and you’re looking at the mountains. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Furnace Creek is close to all the major hikes and the campgrounds are well spaced out and clean. The toilets are clean and the rangers and other staff are delightful. Highly recommend visiting this cradle of unearthly beauty
