The location was nice and central, and the campground itself was very easy to navigate. If youre looking for a rustic experience of feeling right in the middle of nature, this isnt it, though. It was nice to have smooth, level ground for parking, and the amenities were all totally fine, but the road and visitors center are very close. Not a bad trade off, but good to be aware.

Great location. Standard sites.

East facing campsite so be prepared for the heat as soon as the sun comes up. Other than that, a great site that's close to the bathrooms and sink.

Definitely the nicest campground in the park. Our tent site had a cottonwood tree for some shade and view of the mountains. Only downfall was that the bathrooms did not have soap and hand sanitizer dispensers were empty for the three days of our stay. No showers onsite either.

Campground was clean and quiet. Activities are closer by, walking distance to the visitors center. Dump station was closed though!

Campsites were a little close but it was still a great experience! Would definitely go again!

Facilities were clean and there were some trees that offered some shade. Warning that there would be no privacy from neighbors given the bare layout of the campsite and no respite from the 50 mph winds at night. We barely got sleep as the winds were so loud and the tent walls were bending so much they were slapping against our legs.

Everything was just great. Especially the campsite I had. You open your tent and you’re looking at the mountains. Doesn’t get much better than that.
