I think having to have your generator off at 7 pm is too early. It was quite warm while we were there and it would have been nice to have the generator on longer. Also putting tents where RVs are supposed to park is kinda wrong. It takes spots away from people who are in a RVs.

This is a very open campsite. It's a nice size, however it backs up to 3-4 open sites- which during our visit was full of families/friends camping together. There were 9 small children running around like crazy and walking through our campsite. We were practically part of the family lol Zero privacy whatsoever.

Great location! The visitor center nearby was great to have as a resource. The resort next door has some grocery supplies but generally speaking come in with what you need and don't depend on finding it anywhere in the park.

Nice campground with clean restrooms. Not much privacy so campers tend to walk through your campsite to get to the restroom. Camp host was very nice. We had to leave early due to potential storm so they reimbursed us one night stay. We really appreciated that.

We enjoyed Furnace Creek campground. It's a good location for accessing different areas on the eastern side of the park. Note though that some of the campsites are more private than others. We were at #24, no privacy at all. Several of our neighbors had kids who were of course being kids, but they quieted down around 9 so all good. If we had picked a more private campsite and if there were showers, it would be a 5 out of 5. I would stay there again.

Beautiful campground. Wish restrooms were clean.

Nice enough campground in the NP with clean bathrooms. Sites are a bit close with little growth between each site. Which unfortunately means very little privacy but also makes for non-seasoned campers to walk aimlessly through everyone's campsites.

We understood our time there was early in the season and regretted the pool and spa were not available... We visited during that horrible wind storm... more than the usual variety.... and lost power a full day. We are self reliant and were happy the power returned by 845pm..Morning coffee and muffins... a very lovely, and unexpected, treat. Marie is delightful!! Grounds are clean. Restrooms, laundry and club house also very well maintained and welcoming. Spaces are....pretty tight and our sight was not conducive to sitting outside without much privacy with our neighbors. We will return. Hoping for an end spot or a larger one...

Great location at Texas Springs. Not so happy with (a) totally out of line gouging gas prices at the Furnace Creek service station - surely NPS must exercise some restraint on its franchisee! (b) appalling lack of cellular service with antiquated 3G which caused only about a third of my calls to be successful and absolutely no data. Wake up! This is 2022! Both these issues are inexcusable

We had a great experience. Sites are a little close but otherwise no complaints.

Bathrooms could use some help.
Soap and waste containers. Lots of people not wearing masks.

The campsite is few minutes walk to the visitor center, the bathrooms are clean and the camp hosts are visible all throughout the day. However, the campsites are too close to each other, no privacy between neighbors, and mostly with little to no shade. Site 24 fire pit was labeled 26 so it was a little confusing.

The landscape was beautiful and weather good on February 10 and 11th 2021. We biked to Zabriskie Point from Furnace Creek. The trip there was all uphill but a joy coming back. We then stopped at the Death Valley Inn for some drinks and appetizers on their outdoor terrace. The views were great of the valley below but could have been better if not for all the palm trees planted right below the Inn. The campsite was good with a level pad. Sites could be larger and have more plantings between sites. This would be a better place to plant shrubs.

Great campground. Well kept with spacious sites. Centrally located for visiting park destinations.

Hottest|Lowest|Driest. This is on their entrance pass. In the restrooms there are reminders to conserve water. I liked that. Then I discovered there is an 18 hole golf course at Furnace Creek. I enjoyed exploring the park, but the golf course thing steams me.

We would have loved to have had a hookup to electricity, but those sites were all booked up. Other than that it was marvelous!
