Friendly & helpful check-in. The park was fully booked when we were there but the campgrounds were very quiet. Nice level paved pads that weren't too close together with each other.

The campground is very nice. It is very roomy. There was a problem with a rock in the sewer line and the solution that was given us was perfect. I can't wait to make my reservations for next year.

Furnace Creek is a great place to stay. Unfortunately the power was out throughout the area. Luckily our rig managed well with the situation. We enjoyed the area and were happy that we were there.

Excellent weather and time of year to get out of the Sacramento valley doldrums. Beautiful desert scenery abounds. Loved the Titus Canyon drive for some truly spectacular views.

We were lucky to snag a full hook-up site, which made staying in our trailer during the last week of December much more pleasant. It was a pull-through site, and definitely the largest pad our trailer has ever been on! I think the views are better in the back-in hook-up spots on the outer edge of the campground, but we had an end spot across from the group campsite and it still felt fairly private and roomy. Super nice to be able to walk to the park’s visitor’s center! The camp host was also very organized.

The downsides we experienced here: very inconsistent cell signal (Verizon). It seemed to only work at all at night, even at the park visitor’s center. I wish there were more sites with hook-ups. The other negative was that the dump station was closed! I’m not sure if it was in need of repair or what, but it made me really thankful we had a site with hook-ups so we didn’t have to leave the campground to dump and come back again. (We stayed a week.)

I’d definitely recommend this campground if you want hook-ups and don’t need reliable cell service.

It was perfectly located to head to the north to the sand dunes and meteor craters for day one then the salt flats and other sites on the way south headed out to Death Valley Junction and Pahrump, NV.
Lovely, quiet RV site with full hook-up.
