The camp hosts were easy to find and Rick was super helpful with offering information about the visitors center next door and making plans for the visit. I would definitely recommend this campsite for an easy laidback experience in nature.

Park was beautiful and worth a visit. Campsites were very close to one another and the tent camping area was very loud. Children running through your site and yelling from 4am until after 10 pm. Multiple people sleeping in their cars on my last night even though that is supposedly not aloud in that campground. When I come back I will definitely bring my RV as that side of the park was much quieter.

The sites at this campground are crowded, compared to other places we've stayed. But we were so busy seeing all the sights in Death Valley, which were stunning and did not disappoint, that we didn't spend much time at the campsite at all.

Central to everything front country in the park and hosted/staffed by truly incredible individuals who care about those who are staying with them. Great conversations and super helpful information from everyone on site. Very well maintained with rangers coming by both morning and evening to check in and tidy up.

Campground and workers were great. Bathrooms were clean and no issues with other campers. A 60 mph wind event made tenting a scary adventure, but we survivied. Furnace Creek campground is a good location to see all of the parks features. The Visitor Center had an amazing educational exhibits. All in all a good experience.

Very well planned and the ranger actually check each site so thats good for National Park.

Camp site itself was good. I was unclear as to where the tent was actually supposed to be put. Check in - there was no ranger to check people in - which is a non-negotiable... you must check in. Went to the visitor center... they said check back in an hour. What?! With short days, what a waste of time. There were no parking spaces to park and wait in view of the ranger - so i parked and waited. Once the ranger showed up, he chewed me out for parking where i shouldn't park. (Mind you, there were NO people and NO cars within 70 yards of where i was!) And he was the one that wasted my time. So i viewed what i wanted to see and gave up the next 3 nights there. Been to 6 National Parks in the last 30 days; been to basically every NP - and have never had a ranger that rood and out of line.

Had a great time. Be prepared for darkness but that is the allure of Death Valley. People are up early but camp was nice and quiet and the weather in November is perfect for sleeping. Campsite is near lots of sightseeing. I will be back.

Absolutely phenomenal! The sheer size and variety in Death Valley NP is amazing! I highly recommend having a 4 x 4 vehicle to see many canyons, mines and sites that are otherwise not accessible. Highly recommend the Eureka Dunes!
We have done camping in Death Valley for many years. This is one of the best campground they have. With some trees for the shade and nice restroom and dish washing facilities. It is good for all kinds of camping like tent, tent trailer, trailer, motorhome etc. There are many spots but they are booked early so book ahead of time to get a spot. Enjoy
My campsite was close to the tent only restrooms. Not ideal but I understand. Perhaps not all sites work for tent camping.
