Clean bathroom, drinking water and campsites are big so you have a privacy but in super hot area it would be great to have some bars so you can hookup your shade/sun covers. Overall very good campground

Typical urban National Park experience, but provides a ground zero in the Furnace Creek area.

The employer is not friendly and they check everything to find your minor fault and give a ticket. I left the stove in the table when go out and the ranger took it away and gave as a $175 ticket :( If you come here, should be very carefully.

Centrally located. Running water in the restrooms is always nice. These campgrounds in parks usually are more primitive. Great spot surrounded by mountains.

Pros: Location. We had a tent site close to the restrooms/wash area, and across from a group site. The campground location is central to everything in the park, which is nice. Amenities. Large fire pit with swinging grate was very nice for fires/cooking. Restrooms, wash basin for dishes, garbage/recycling. Our site had ample space for parking and our tent.Cons:You cannot bring firewood into this National Park per the NPS website. Firewood in the area is expensive - be prepared to spend $10/bundle. We spent more on wood than the campsite itself. Rude neighbors. We were across from a group site with about 8-10 adults and a few children. Our neighbors played rave music for all to hear all day (starting in the morning until quiet hours), and had flashing lights pulsing in the evening. Kinda kills star viewing. This really detracted from the setting. The camp hosts were nowhere to be seen over the weekend we stayed. We drove in and out several times, and the sign at their site said they were "out." It really is their job to round on the campground and address these issues. The lack of presence allowed this "rave" to go on all weekend. We came out here to get away from it all....but instead "it all" followed us.
