Lots of fun. We arrived when it was dark and didn't realize there was more camping space toward the back past the trees. A random man did spy on us the second night by setting up through these trees under the guise of stargazing in the camping spot which was uncomfortable for a few women camping. I had to approach him to get him to leave and go back to his camping spot. There was also an incident the first night around 4am of a man entering our campsite from a side where there were no other campers. I had to check the car to make sure there was no brake tampering. Would definitely NOT recommend this spot for solo female campers. Groups of women need to be on the lookout and carry PPE.

There isn't space for our two vehicles either despite the reservation including two vehicles.Really liked the proximity to the Visitor Center, central location, and the sinks for washing dishes.

Great campground, had to shift between multiple sites as it was heavily booked, which was no problem. Every site had a vista of the mountains. Rangers were helpful, courtesy and great stewards of the park.

Campground is great! Clean and conveniently located. Close to the visitor center which has WiFi. A nice improvement would be to have an on site shower facility. Even if you have to pay extra.

Wow just wow. I had my doubts coming here as I was tired of desert camping and with the golf course next door, but my mind was blown with how secluded it felt from the modern things. Loved everything about this place including the sites, visitor center, amenities such as warm running water, and the staff. Sooo much to do in this arid place that I didn't get enough of it. Definitely going back soon!

Lovely camp ground with nice facilities! Especially liked the big dish sinks outside the bathroom. Nice spots nestled in the trees (#104)

Get a day pass for the lovely hot springs swimming pool, which has long open hours. Try to do as many hikes as possible, they are worth it.

Our camp was shaded by trees and we sit our camp under it. The utility was very clean with a wall mount hand sanitizer but no soap at all. There was data coverage 3G (T-mobile) before the sunrise with, then it get busy that you cant use the data.

Great place to camp! Hiking in the area is amazing!A quick stroll from the campgrounds down a side road lands you at civilization and a great dinner at The Salon :)Recommend this place for sure!

It was a great time camping as always. Campground was clean and quiet. Toilets are clean. Mobile coverage (I had ATT) was good enough to make calls/texts so that family knows youre ok which was helpful when youre not with the whole gang. Camp hosts walk around enough to make you feel comfortable. My only two complaints are the campsites are literally next to each other where your picnic table is next to your neighbors car and your view at the drive in tent sites are the RVs. Youd be better off booking a walk-in tent site if you dont want an RV view.

Nightly noise. It seemed there was a garbage truck going all night long. Lots of backup beeps and clunks. Could be a better time to do this as the sound really carries in the area.
@jeffw948 · Camped on Apr 15, 2021 at Campsite #103
Very crowded and cramped campground. Sites are on top of each other, most are fully exposed. Imagine a parking lot and you have 3 spaces, and all around you, the other campers have 3 spaces too, you have no privacy.

This is an excellent campground for RVs, group camping and individual tent sites. One of the best locations for dark skys!

Great Campground with clean restrooms. Some sites are a bit too close to each other, but if you can score one of the bigger sites then you'll be happy!
Great location and close to all the main spots in the park.

Well maintained campground with good facilities. There are not many trees so sites are not very private but that's what you expect in the desertion! No phone signal on T Mobile. You can walk to the visitor centre and there are several places to eat next door at the Oasis.
