please consider retiring the noisy gas powered leaf blowers, battery pack blowers are much quieter. it is quite disturbing to hear that drone even from other distant loops, most times its the only non natural sound in the campground

The sites were level with plenty of space, good drainage, & lots of trees all around. Nice, well-travelled trails in the area & swimming available as well. The showers are subpar, as the 'control' is just a button you push to get ~10 seconds of lukewarm water & there is very little space to keep your stuff dry. Despite that I found it to be a supremely relaxing atmosphere & it is near the top of my list for camping destinations.Note to management: Upgrade the showers!!! You're so close to being the best!

Sites are roomy & shaded. Woods are full of poison ivy so come prepared. The lake is clean & beautiful but BUSY on summer weekends.

We do not like the new time for check in it is 2:00 and check out is 11:00 so that really cuts into your time, which is not cheap. You have to arrive late or pay to arrive earlier and then if you want to spend anytime on the lake at all on say a Sunday check out you would have to pay for another night. Just don't like the new rules on time. I mean if someone is not on the camp sight why can't we go ahead an occupy it sooner. Glad there are other campgrounds in the area.

This was our first visit to Holly Bay. We stayed in G loop. Our site was a premium (lake view) site. Yes the lake is there and somewhat visible, but this campground is heavily forested, so there won’t be any gazing out across the water. Our site was relatively level and very clean. A crew was seen cleaning sites as we left so they do make the effort. In general this campground is in a quite hilly area, so there inclines to deal with every where. Walking around we saw some sites that would be tough to level up on (for RV folks). We also noticed that some of the power post were positioned well to the front of the site. Also for this campground there is only one dump station so we waited probably 30 minutes to dump. Fair warning to larger rigs wanting to stay in G loop, the cul de sac at the back is a fairly tight radius and the road fairly narrow. We witnessed someone drop the inside two wheels off the inside of the concrete culvert on their fifth wheel and have to drag it out on the axle tubes. Our rig is 33’ behind a 4 door dually and I could make it ok, you just need to exercise caution and SLOW down. Good water pressure. We didn’t use the bath house. Zero T-Mobile signal.
