Unable to fish due to lake water being very high. Most likely from all the rain, otherwise we had a wonderful experience. Area nice and clean

The showers and restrooms need restoration. The beach needs more sand and a makeover. The showers at the beach need attention too.

Twin Knobs campground holds a special place in our hearts as the ultimate outdoor getaway. Whether were hiking, bonding over campfire tales, or indulging in the simple pleasure of making smores, every moment spent here is a reminder of the joy and wonder of the great outdoors. We cant wait to return for another unforgettable adventure.

Twinn Knobs is a okay place to stay. We like the style of campground . It is in need of updates or repairs in several areas most of all is the dump station. We go several times a year and you must book your site 2-3 months in advance, which is getting to be the norm, but I'm always surprised to see how many loops are closed especially in the fall. It seems like management would open all the loops and maximize revenue.

The beach is almost always closed do to high water or low water, so on the rare chance that the water level is at the correct height, there are no visible sticks on the beach , it is the 4th Saturday in May , and we are in the middle of the Lunar schedule you can go enjoy the beach! However dont float to close to swim barrier or the golf cart mounted guard will get you- not the hordes of people smoking on the beach or putting mountain dew in their baby's bottle.

Long story short - It is managed by a third party management company , which means they do the minimum to maintain the campground. over regulated and under managed.

Very clean restrooms and excellent campsite. Quiet hours not enforced, however.

We were only able to stay one night on our cross country trek, but the park/campground was awesome! We stayed at site J17 which was in dense forest. Coming from Colorado, it was so nice to be buried in the beautiful trees for a night. Bathrooms/showers were excellent and easy to walk to. I would absolutely stay here again and would love to spend a few days exploring the lake.
