We stayed at I 7. It was a beautiful site. We did have severe weather the first night and they came and told us about the warning and reminded us of the storm shelter. IT was quiet, and well maintained. Good cell service.

Been going to Cave Run since it opened 45 years ago. One change is needednighttime security. Once the station at the entrance closes, there is no security beyond a 911 call. Had an incident at night that was concerning and would have felt much better with security instead of leaving and spending the last night in a hotel room before returning. I love the lake and the campground, but theres got to be security at night. No issue with animalsthis concern was with humans.

My family has been camping at Twin Knobs every year for the past 30+ years. That being said, sadly the camp ground has also aged terribly over the past 30+ years. Trails and pathways are impassable, the beach area has continually gotten smaller and facilities are old and run down. A lot of work needs to be done to bring this camp ground back to our favorite place to camp.
