Twin Knobs is a great place for camping with excellent fishing. I enjoy every moment at the campsites.

Beautiful park, great signage making it easy to find our site (we arrived very late at night after a storm), and a very large mostly level site that was easy to back into in the dark. Trees obscured most of the view of the lake but there was a short trail down to the water right from the site. My only criticism is that the $28 site fee ended up being $43 once we paid the $7 premium for a lakefront site and the $8 reservation fee. So its very misleading to say this is a $28 site. Thats a steep price for a non-electric site.

Very peaceful. Loved that this site was right in the water. Lots of shade, nice level gravel pad made setup a breeze. Only dropped a star because you couldn't really see the lake from the campsite and the path to the water was way overgrown. Would've loved to be able to put our kayaks in from the site, but there was no way to get them to the water. Overall, it's a great site and we'll definitely be back.

The campground was beautiful but not very pet friendly. If you are solo camping with your animals this is not the place for you. You cannot leave them unattended but also cannot take them to the restroom with you..

F20 might be the best spot! There is a little trail that goes down to the lake where you can put in Paddle Boards. Twin Knobs is beautiful. The bath house is to be expected for a camp ground but not too gross. Just dont forget shower shoes.

Campground and facilities are always clean and well kept. Camping sites have lots of shade and space between sites so you are on top of your neighbors. Sides are good sized with fire rings and picnic tables - we've been coming here for several years and have always had good experiences. A perfect place to camp for relaxation and activities in the water.

Weve been camping at Twin Knobs since 1982. We obviously love it and plan on returning as long as were able. The sites are second to none and Cave Run is our favorite of all lakes weve visited (and thats a lot).

Stay was good...enjoyed the storytelling festival. The weather was too hot for late September...the only reason I didnt give 5 stars for the stay.

My wife and I went camping in the late fall and it couldnt have gone better. The campsite was in excellent condition and we were very pleased at the large size of the site. We will definitely return next year. I would highly recommend this Campground to anyone.
