Our visit was fine, but we were very disappointed to find that at least half of the campsites do not have electric or water hookups, making it difficult to reserve a spot. The whole week we were there, several of the loops were empty because of the lack of amenities. There is no playground on the campsite anywhere. It was well kept and clean. The beach was a little disappointing as well. It was mostly dirty gravel, although the grassy slope was a nice are if you were picnicking. The beach by the dam was even worse, very small and very rocky. Not nice at all. The bathrooms and showers were clean, but the water for the showers was scalding hot with no way to adjust the temperature. Also, the sink faucets only stay on for about 3 seconds. Only allowing 6 people per site was not very family friendly in our opinion. There are only 2 vehicles allowed per site, unless you pay and extra $8 per day for and extra parking pass, even though there are extra parking areas throughout the campground. Overall, our stay was fine, but we definitely see where there is room for improvement!

Great campground! We have been coming here for many years. The campsites are the best. Very clean and nicely spaced. We like the fishing, kayaking and hiking.
One note: the hiking trails really need some upkeep. Most are overgrown and hard to walk.

I loved the oversized camping spots! The place was very well cared for and quiet. I won't hesitate to return!

Campsite was great. Just what we had expected. We like to hike, but trails around the lake are quite overgrown.

My family enjoyed the camp area at Twin Knobs. It was clean, easily accessible. The flat camp sites makes it a breeze to park the camper. The fire pit was clean, you don’t see this much. The bath house was spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing that disappointed me was that prior to arrival our campsite was changed because of high water. Maybe there were some additional issues but it did not seem as though there was any danger of high water issues at our original campsite that had a view of the lake. In fact there was someone next to the campsite we would have been in.

They handled this very well and were extremely polite and helpful during our entire stay.
