We stayed two nights on our way back to VA. We were very disappointed in the overall apperance of the park. It has a "worn" feel. Our site was ok but just the tall grass and weeds needed attention. Did not use the bath houses so cannot comment. Rode through all loops and went to beach area and overall felt the park needs some TLC. We would not return if were in the area.

The staff were engaged and very friendly. Everyone was practicing social distancing and the washroom/bathhouse was recently cleaned every time I visited it. I was the campsite by the trash receptacles and the staff stopped by regularly and cleaned the handles and doors. The campground was decorated for fall and we enjoyed driving by the loops and voting for our favorite. The campground is easy to navigate with large flat areas and wide drives making it easy to get our bass boat in and out. We tent camp on an electric site and our 10x10 canopy and tent with large tarp underneath have more than enough room on the raised well drained area. The ramps were designed for more than one boat at a time, no waiting in line, and there was plenty of parking with lots of room to maneuver with the trailer. The park itself it dense canopy and breathtaking lake views. We highly enjoyed our stay and will be back next year. I do wish it was open a couple of weeks later in the year for the fall bass bite though
