Beautiful setting for the campground. Unfortunately, it has very tight parking spots. Made it very hard to back in a 20 ft trailer. Ended up damaging the underside of trailer and bent a stabilizer jack. When I walked to the conveniently located shower/bathhouse from my site, some one had defecated into one of the urinals. Very discussing that a camper would do such a thing. Will never return to this campground

My wife and love coming here to Twin Knobs. Although the beach was closed due to flooding this time. Weve always had a great time here. Looking forward to next camping trip

The fact that a loud generator was running next to us for 3 days straight was appalling. We asked staff to at least have them turn it off at night. It was 65-70 degrees the entire weekend. We were in an electric site and there were many other electric sites available but this other person had a fifth wheel in a non-electric site running an extremely loud generator. This made the weekend miserable. It was as loud as a tractor. Again we asked several times and different staff and no one made this stop. We were several hours from and essentially stuck there through this. Last time we are going to this campground.

Wonderful camping experience; spacious, and private sites located within short hike to Cave Run Lake. Also numerous options for shopping, dining and entertainment. Visited the Venue in Morehead, college town, and enjoyed the atmosphere!! Definitely will return soon!

Rude staff.. showers dangerously HOT, old facilities will spend my time and money elsewhere.

Ive been camping my entire life and this is the second worst campground Ive ever stayed in in my life. Sites were small, poison ivy EVERYWHERE. Theyre insane about the dumbest rules. Make sure your truck is backed in so they can see your tag and make sure you paid for your vehicle. The beach was gross, muddy and crowded. Tried to play a family game of wiffle ball on their field but the grass was so tall. If youre looking for a good weekend at a campground, dont go to Twin Knobs. I prefer woods, here you could see the woods, but god forbid you step off the gravel or asphalt and youll be eat up with poison ivy kisy like me, and two of my kids.
