Nice campsite. Each site was plenty big and included a huge bear box. Camp hosts were kind and personable. The road to the campsite is a long dirt road that is rather bumpy, and it was just graded, so the bumps may have been the result of the treads from the grader. The campsite is 20 minutes to the Yellowstone west entrance, then another 40 minutes to a major junction within the park. On a plus, cellular service is strong at rainbow.

Pleasant campground. Sites are well spaced. Restrooms are quite clean. The hosts were friendly, helpful and well informed. The road in to the campground sucks! Badly washboarded and lots of potholes. The adjacent day use area with boat launch is well used and it appears the locals just pound the road on the way in.

Great campground just 10 min from west Yellowstone. Id stay here again. Lake trails were fun for the family. Sites were large and well positioned for privacy. Even pit toilets were clean and not stinky.

Beautiful spot. The lake is just absolutely gorgeous. It’s a quick drive into West Yellowstone which has access to lots of restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, etc. We recommend getting firewood in town- the camp hosts are charging more money for less wood.
