Campground was very clean. The lake nearby is a definite plus. Kids had a great time on kayaks and float tubes as well as digging in the sand. The lake was extremely mossy so I left it to the kids. The space between sites was really nice. No neighbors camping on top of each other. Definitely going again next year.

The campground is beautiful and the staff is excellent. The road to get there is AWFUL. Its washboard city so dont expect to drive fast or have everything stay put in your camper. We wont go back because of the road unfortunately

Tent camped here for two nights in July. The proximity to Yellowstone was great, but the mosquitos made the site itself almost unbearable. After two nights in long pants and long sleeves sitting near a smoky campfire, I still left with 40+ bites. The campgrounds seem much better suited for RVs than car camping. There was easy access to potable water, but no way to dispose of waste water or trash from cooking, cleaning, tooth-brushing, etc. The pit toilets on site were clean, but you need to bring your own hand sanitizer for after you use them.

Was great and out of the way.

Only a short distance from West Yellowstone and the NP. A bumpy paved road led to an even bumpier dusty gravel road to the campground. Rains resolved the dust and the road was graded the 2nd day we were there. With a 40 foot motorhome, we found the campsite easy to get into and quite level. Inclimate weather inhibited us from kayaking on the Lake.

Great jumping off point for Yellowstone. Away from the crowded campgrounds of Yellowstone. The only reason it did not get five stars is the condition of the access roads. Sever wash boarding on the gravel road into camp. Also a heads up, the water fill site is at the message board just as you enter camp.

Good experience but website indicates that some of sites are first come first serve. We found from host that this changed last year to all reserve only. This should be reflected on the website.
