Beautiful campground right on the water! Quaint and quiet, would definitely come back!

Such a cute campground! The spaces are somewhat close together, but not awful at all. Such a quaint spot next to the lake. It was extremely clean too!

I had reserved a lovely lakeside site, and it was as advertised, very nice and right next to the lake. The sites in this campground, however, are in general packed in pretty tight, and there is little privacy. Fortunately, the multitude of families also camped while I was there had well-behaved and quiet children, and no one stayed up late partying. The main compaint I have, and this has nothing to do with the campground or how it is managed, is the constant barrage of loud motorboats that run all day, starting at dawn and not stopping until after dark. There is a no-wake sign out in front of the campground, but the 2 days I was there, more than 50% of boat operators ignored it. Anyone who tries to use their paddle board, canoe, or other non-motorized craft needs to be aware of constant waves from boat wakes, and in some cases motor boat operators who will go tearing right by you at high speed. There is a boat ramp adjacent to the lake, which is part of the reason for the heavy boat traffic. I think getting a reservation in May, early June, or later in September would mean less boat traffic and less noise, if this is an issue for anyone considering this campground. If this sort of noise and commotion don't bother you, or you go during a less busy time, it's perfect. It is indeed a lovely spot.
