Spruce bud worms were falling from the trees and were on everything ....by the thousand. Not a yearly event, but bad timing for us.

Smaller campground, but very well maintained.

Great location - peaceful spot with nearby hiking trail, close to West Yellowstone. Beautiful setting, and right across from a resort with a restaurant and general store.

Great campsite with close proximity to fly fishing camp/store. Amanda worked with our group to adjust our spots, and they keep all facilities in excellent shape!!

I wasn't able to go. My part of Montana was under a Red Flag Warning for the week I planned to be camping. There was no way to cancel.

Fun and Very Clean Campground. Very well Maintained and Great Camp host. 1 critique is note that campsites are shared. We stayed in #14. #14 and #15 are really shared and very much on top of one another. This should be noted in the descriptions of the campground

Sorry, it just didn’t come across as we’d hoped. Site too close to Highway, neighbors with three dogs and not a good space to manage our daughter in wheelchair w/ lift. Ended up nearby, tho and host folks were very nice.

When you book from Recreation.gov, they don't tell you that about 80 percent of the campsites are shared. We booked one site thinking it was an individual site since the pictures are misleading. When we got there, there was another trailer right next to us. I believe there are about 4 sites in the campground that are not shared sites. The information on the sites should tell the camper that they are shared. Also, most campsites are not angled so it is very difficult to back a trailer into the sites.

Perfect little campground. Right on the river, loved the white noise at night sleeping in the hammock. The host was super nice and a fellow minnesotain, very helpful as it was our first time camping in grizzly territory (thankfully we had no bear visitors to our site). Beautiful location and even though you are right next to a major road there is no road noise at all! Road noise can bring a camping trip down and it was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin Creek was exactly what we wanted for our home base while exploring Yellowstone. The host was very helpful and kept the campground in great shape. The vault toilets were exceptionally clean! Site 14 was great... firther from road noise, close enough to creek for some comforting night music, hillside along backside of site, shade, and good tent area. Bear boxes were helpful. Make sure to save some time for the nearby Earthquake Lake Visitor Center. Interesting! At Yellowstine, check out the lesser visited Artists Paintpots, especially in the evening.
