Campsite and facilities were clean and although the sites are close, they're still quite private with the greenery between sites. Other sites had great access to the creek (we still had some), but enjoyed an open area within walking distance to keep us cool during the day. Close enough to town you can grab any items you forgot, if you'd like. Highly recommend!

Beautiful campground, very well maintained, and although close to Big Sky and Bozeman has a secluded feel. Swan Creek runs along the campground close to the sites, and there is a nice easy hiking trail to a part of the creek with some beaver dams.

We stayed at site #10 and it was amazing! All sites in the upper are awesome! Direct access to the creek and both sun and shade throughout the day. The upper camp is much more laid back than the lower campsites. This is one of our favorite spots!

We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have spent more time. Lovely secluded location with not too many people. Camp sites very private and well kept.

Loved the sites right on the river. Camp host Carl was great and came around a couple times a day to take care of the campground and was so friendly. Bathroom were the cleanest pit toilets Ive ever been in. Quiet campground

Fantastic campground! Site #7 was super close to the rushing creek, great to fall asleep to. Less shade than the other sites. 8, 9, and 10 were not as scrunched together as I might have thought, decent amount of space between them, tons of shade, so those would be great choices. Also #7 might have been the only one without a dedicated bear box, but the communal one was a very short walk. Bathroom was super clean. Road was paved and easy to get around on. Tons of ants everywhere, not shocking but something to be aware of. Mosquitoes werent terrible but theyre probably getting worse every week. Highly recommend this site and anywhere in the upper loop! Lower didnt look bad but I didnt explore it.

Use the Upper loop, not as busy and less road noise. Sites 7-13.

Swan creek is beautiful, quiet, and clean. Our only complaint is that the campground says that it accommodates 35 rvs which the is true except for the tree clearings on the road. Our 35 motorhome ended up getting huge scratches due to branches that were in the way. We are not happy campers!

Camp hosts always keep the campground and outhouse sparkling. Year after year they provide great service.

Sites and restrooms are meticulously maintained. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. No partiers or loud campers...it was a great stay.

With only 13 campsites this little gem was peaceful and serene. There was running water right next to spot #6 and all the sites were just a short walk to the vaulted toilets. No host on site, but the reserved sign was up upon my arrival and the site was clean and taken care of. I would recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to get away. The nearest cell service was about 13 miles away, so if you want to be "connected" at all, then this would not be for you.

This campground is awesome! Our site was heavily wooded and very private. Our site was right next to the creek so you could here the water while in the camper at night! I would definitely stay here again!

Host was wonderful. Site was perfect!

Beautiful sites. Creek running beside all of them. Some were closer to the creek than others. Very large sites. Our had no shade (007 UPPE) but the rest did. Checkout was 12 noon and checking was 2. The road is only wide enough for one vehicle. Not much space to pull over to pass if you encountered one. Nice hiking trail higher up the mountain. Clean vault toilets. Some sites had a bear box. Ours did not but there was a community box to share.

Quiet and serene campground by a stream and in the forest. The paved road and paved trailer pad minimize rough roads. The camping facilities are well maintained and cleanly,

Quiet and serene, and a world away from the highway. All sites are on the creek and theres a trailhead at the easternmost side of the campground.

One of my favorite campgrounds of all time. Quiet, secluded, by the creek ,very little traffic ,great spot.

The upper loop was quiet - few generators! The hike at Swan Creek was lovely, following the creek and the verdant under story. Also, consider hiking Karst and Beehive Basin (outside Big Sky). Karst was mostly shady and secluded. Beehive included an amazingly beautiful wildflower meadow and obtainable mountain top. The camp host at Swan Creek was extra-ordinary! Caring, efficient, helpful and making sure all campers had a great experience. You won't be disappointed if you go.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
