We had 3 nights here in this campground. Some road noise from the highway but not too bad at night. Very close to big sky resort. (Maybe 15 min to big sky 20-25 to the resort)The lower site numbers offer electricity hookups, higher numbers are dry camping. Hike up to the diamond cave which kind of looks like youre inside a giant geode. Its just above the campground via a short trail. Pretty interesting to shine a flashlight into all the crystals lining the walls and ceiling. (Fun for kids)Swimming in the gallatin river was a little cold but under the bridge has a deeper spot for a swim, the river itself is really nice. Red cliff is very close to a side entrance to a corner of Yellowstone park (no dogs on trails inside the national park) but we found one called teepee creek that runs along the border of Yellowstone, dogs allowed, was a great trail, take your bear spray. Joe (camp host) does an amazing job of keeping the whole place organized and toilets clean and stocked. He also helped sort out a mistake we made on booking one of our nights. Super nice guy. Dorothy and her husband (regional camp maintenance manager) are based in red cliff and keeps things mowed and looking good, they work hard to keep things maintained.

The site was well tended to and bathrooms were immaculate. The host and hostess were very kind.
