Camp hosts were excellent. I have been staying at this campground for 45 years. The restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. They even hang bags to put other things in if you want to throw them away while youre in there. Very good

Our only issue was that the two different sets of hosts were sticklers on different things. It would be nice if all hosts got the same training and were on the same page.

One of my favorite campgrounds. I always book site 25 because it is at the end near the loop / trailhead and there is only one site across from us. There is a bear box and vault toilet across the road. The restroom is always clean and never smells. This site is secluded and a direct path to the river. You can hear the flow of the river which is perfect at night. We were here at the end of May and we were the only ones at that end of the campground.

There is a fire ring and bbq to use along with a nice table and electric at this site. Fill your RV a with water at the entrance when you arrive. There is a dump station in Bozeman on 19th and Baxter. I have Verizon and there is zero cell service. However ATT has service…one bar but it’s still service. Use all trails app to find your next hike. Big sky is not far and they have a little grocery store and ACE hardware just in case you needed something.

The only issue I have with the campground is the road noise. 191 can get busy and you can hear the truckers and cars, but isn’t a deal breaker for us.

What a gorgeous campground. Exactly what we wanted.

PROS
1. Gorgeous location with Trees galore
2. Hiking steps from our site. We didn’t take that trail but it looked fun.
3. Electric hook up
4. Bear box was really close to our site.
5. Restrooms were clean and Perfect walking distance from our trailer.
6. River right behind our site
7. Not to far from Bozeman or big sky
8. Large sites. Not sitting up on your neighbors.
9. Our site only has one neighbor to our left. Our right side was facing the forest. Perfect
10. Easy check in and staff were so helpful
11. Staff were helpful with explaining camping in bear country.
12. Dog friendly
13. Trash and drinking water near the entrance/exit

CONS
1. Close to road slight road noise. Nothing crazy but occasionally a semi will make a noise driving by.
2. No dump station, closest was at four corners.
3. Wish we could have stayed forever
