Campsite was very clean. Werent too many visitors around us, so it was quiet at our site. Lovely spot.

Great location with a few options for setting up your tent. It’s away from other spots and has privacy. There is treated spring water too, so you can always get extra water as needed.

This is one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed in. It is up a ways from the road, so you have to haul your stuff into the woods a bit, but it’s 100% worth it to be secluded from the other campsites. There’s a great mix of sun and shade. Great flat space for a tent (room for 2, actually). Good hammock trees.

Very quiet site (except for the sounds of the highway in the near distance). Site is very private... didn't see or hear from anyone the entire time I was there (not even a visit from any hosts). Good distance away from the lake, so I didn't seem to attract any mosquitoes til the last morning I was there. Trees are well-distanced apart...perfect for my hammock. The bear box, fire-ring, and cement picnic table were clean and ready-to-use. It is QUITE a distance away from the parking spot, so if you have anything heavy to bring, you'll be trekking it up a very rough "pathway" chock full of sand, rocks, branches, and steep inclines. I was camping alone and was able to bring everything up by myself, but yes, as the site description states, it may not be suitable for older people nor for tiny humans. Overall, a great private site with enough shade and views to make for a happy camping experience. My dog enjoyed it too.

Beautiful well spaced sites on lovely Mount Lemmon high above the desert heat. Vault toilets were clean. Camp host sold firewood - an increasingly rare amenity. No recycling.

Excellent sites, great interactions with the various site workers, convenient bear safe food storage cabinets and fire pits, grills, and tables. Amazing views in the area too. Can't wait to go back :) Just a heads up, when picking sites, some have very far parking from where you set up and can be difficult for certain parties. I changed from site 11 to site 19 for this reason, but they were really accommodating about this. Also, hiking into fish can be a chore as the parking to the lake is a bit of a trek, especially with gear and chairs in tow-bring a wagon for supplies.
