The neighboring campsite burned unsafe and foul smelling garbage. The neighboring campsite had more than the allowed number of people and cars. They stayed up late playing loud music despite being asked to quiet down by four separate people. We had to leave early due to the noise and excessive smoke. My daughters birthday camping trip was ruined. The park rangers were notified and spoke to the group but this did not change the inappropriate behavior. The restroom was not cleaned and was very unpleasant to use.

It was our third time up at the lake and it was great. Some of the campgrounds, especially those closer to the lake are walking distance from it, whereas those
Below 60s are not (depending on your tolerance and whether or not you have kids).
The place is very private and you are a good 25-30 yards apart from the next campsite (sometimes more). The campsites are equipped with everything
You’ll need (table, bearproof storage, fire pit, grill, toilets, and running water). There are no showers.
Temperatures over night may vary depending on which site you’re occupying (they are quite a difference in elevation between them that will also effect the amount of sunlight you’ll get in the morning). Earthly June temperatures were still in the 40s over night, whereas towards the end of the month much warmer.
At last, in case you forget your firewood, you’ll be able to purchase some from people working the grounds (we’ve met Jody and Jack who were both fantastic.)

One thing to improve would be to keep toilets more clean and crack down on people leaving trash around the lake area.
The place is a real gem and should be kept that way.
