Please consider having hours for generator use in addition to the quiet hours of 10 pm - 6 am. I suggest generator hours 7:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm.Also, please consider making one of the RV spots accessible, with the parking area for the RV level side-to-side and asphalted up to picnic table for wheelchair and/or walker. I suggest #41.

I reserved Rose Canyon #50 in August 2024 to escape the heat with my dog. It was a spacious site with plenty of room to park my minivan camper and set of the text that attaches to the back end. The site was flat, but I didn't realize that the place for the van was also the loop road. There was enough room for people to drive past my rig. The sites were clean and the campground hosts were very friendly. Great space!

So great to escape the valley heat and surprisingly quiet for the Independence weekend. Only one decent rainfall to darken our stay but it did manage to cool things down quite a bit. Not much activity in the lake, but that wasn't our primary reason to visit this beautiful campground.

Rose Canyon is peaceful and the camp sites are great. Site 50 is good except for the traffic, ie., people driving around looking at the RV site options...

Rose Canyon is a good area to go to get some relief from the heat. Wish there were more RV sites.

Within an hour, before I could finish setting-up, two different "Hosts" made sure to stop-by. Without greeting me or introducing themselves, they both were letting me know my gear didn't look right to them. The first rolled in right after I attached my Kelty Sideroads sun shelter to my van. He first questioned if I was the person who made the reservation. After I assured him I was, he pointed out that my Kelty "looked like" a tent and that tents weren't allowed. I read the rules when I made the reservation and I did not bring my tent. He agreed with me that the Kelty is not a tent and was ok to have up for shade, then sped away and shouted back at me that it still "looked too much like" a tent. About 30-40 minutes later, the second host drove up and "greeted" me by stating that she wasn't going to make me move. (What??) She then went on to say that they preferred to save these spots for "real RV's" and then explained how my setup was not that. Specifically that I had to have a contained toilet and be able to cook inside. I do and I can, though I hardly ever cook and prefer to cook outside when I camp. No matter, my gear is not what they want to see in their RV spots. I'm way too old to put up with petty gear-shaming while trying to relax, so I fed and walked my little dog, packed up my (luckily!) modest gear, and came home. I've made sure my other reservations in Rose Canyon this summer are NOT near the RV sites. I'm hoping to meet friendlier hosts next time!

Vicky, the camp host was amazing and very helpful. The sites and bathrooms are always incredibly clean and welcoming. She offered us firewood also. She does a great job and makes the whole experience worthwhile. We love to come up a few times a year and love our #50!!!
Keep up the great work

The campground is well spaced out. Spot number 50 was very large which made it easy to set up our trailer.
