We stayed in our 20 ft. RV over the Fourth of July weekend to avoid the firecracker craziness in Tucson that frightens our dog. What a pleasure to have the quiet forest to walk our dog and ride our bikes! We thought it might be extremely busy, but our campsite was very private and people were very respectful. Will definitely be back! The camp hosts and personnel at the front gate were helpful and nice.

The camp host greeter at the booth arriving at the site was very welcoming and very informative which was much appreciated. Our campsite was clean and we left it the same way. The restrooms were a little gross ... The fire pit was great. This was our first time camping here and probably won't be the last.

The campground was well maintained and quiet. Thanks go out to the thankless job of the Hosts. Someone came up and complained to the host that the price went up this year. Like she is making too much money, Listening to such silliness must be draining, but she stayed calm and explained that everything is getting more expensive. Hard to believe you need to explain that to an adult. We will be back!

Great campground, nice walk to the lake, clean, helpful staff driving the area on golf carts, temperature was perfect although early October it's getting chilly at night.

Remote campground. Just like camping should be. In the trees. Nice walks nearby and great hikes within short drive.

Aug 30-Sept 6 we reserved site 44. We had a great time, weather was very cooperative and also had family camp on the site next to us. During their camping stay (3 days) they remarked how peaceful, relaxing & clean the loop we were all camping at was.In addition as we were bragging how attentive our camp hosts were Vicky showed up right on cue. She visited with the family & made sure everything was ok at their site too. The following few days Vicky, Shane & Chris made frequent stops at our sites to ensure we all continued to enjoy our time there.Rose Canyon is very fortunate to have these hosts to take care of their campers & grounds!See you next time!

From June 28-July 4 we reserved site 44 at Rose Canyon. We were visited shortly after setting up camp by our host Vicky - she was checking to make sure our site was as expected & offered to bring us firewood if needed. Later that afternoon Shane, our host too, stopped by to see how things were going. Throughout out our 7 day stay either Vicky, Shane or Chris made frequent daily stops even letting us know of any impending bad weather. These 3 staffers are the most respectful, caring & helpful individuals! We look forward to camping at Rose Canyon because we know that we will be looked after while we enjoy our getaway to the pines, mountains & cool weather! Thank you Vicky, Shane & Chris

It's beautiful, clean, pristine. We went during the week in May and had the place almost to ourselves. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We saw a lot of birds that we hoped to see.

Loved our camping spot in Willows Edge. Nice long spots w grill and firepit with grill. Plenty of room for the van and dog and everything. Nicely maintained pit toilet Very friendly camp hosts too.
