We had a wonderful weekend for our anniversary and Valentine's day. Will definitely go back.

I have camped here multiple times. Nice little get away. Sites are always clean, no trash in firepit. Love that you can just hike from campsite to trails, and not have to fight for parking spot at building.

The campground is very nice, well up kept. The down side was the large group just across on the group camp side was incredibly loud with generators and speakers playing loud music until 2 am. I'm blown away that the park rangers said they could do nothing about it. Friday night, the entire individual side was full. Nearly every individual campground emptied out the next night except for two or three.

Lovely campground, clean and peaceful, but the hand sanitizer dispenser in the bathroom was empty during our stay.

The campsite was great - a very short walk from the parking area. Beautiful trails that are clearly marked. Dog friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at long leaf campground. Wish there was running water there, but it's easy enough to get water down at the visitor center. Loved the shade and ease of finding kindling on the ground for a fire.

Tent sites at Longleaf were clean, quiet, and private. It's a long walk in to sites 8, 9, 10 so be prepared to make multiple trips hauling your gear. Bring firewood, and plenty of water. There are pit toilets, but no running water. Remarkably bug free in the first week of June, nice and shady.

Campground was great and pretty quiet! Vault toilet was clean and well stocked with toilet paper/hand sanitizer. Unexpected bonus was a solar-powered charging station. The sites are not unusually close together, but there is little vegetation between them so you can really see your neighbors. Great hikes and great canoeing.
