Spacious tenting sites at the back of the campground were mostly well-screened from neighbors. Staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant. Long Key is not too far out of greater Miami and is a convenient base for visiting both the Everglades and the Keys.

Arrived at camp in the late afternoon, setup and made friends with the campers next to me. Throughout the night, we were disturbed by cackling and what seemed to be teenagers/and or other immature young kids screaming throughout the forest after quiet hours. They were shouting racial slurs and made it very hard to sleep. I will not be returning to this campsite just to be bothered by people screaming offensive words at all hours of the night in the woods.

Basic campground. Short walk from the parking area. No water or electricity so bring your own. There is a dual outhouse next to the parking area. Campground was pretty quiet except for air traffic to the nearby airportnot all night long, though. If you like darkness & animal sounds, this is the campground for you. I will return!

Everything is nice except the mosquito. But we can check the mosquito meter in the visitor center.

Clean campsite and area. All campsites are pretty close to each other, but it's really no issue with good neighbors! Loved the kayaking tour through the park. It was the highlight for us.

Campgrounds are spread out enough for privacy. Facilities were in good condition. AT&T phone service was also good (if needed). Campground is easily walkable to visitor center and trails that start there. Bring bug spray, tarps for tents (when it rains), and local firewood.

Congaree is a beautiful national park with several nice hiking trails and a small visitor center. It was not very busy when we visited and quite peaceful. There are only about 20 tent camp sites accessible by car, but you have to carry your gear from the parking lot. Its not very far-just dont bring a lot of gear. Only water is at visitor center and only a couple of vault toilets so no showers.

Loved this site! Its a little more set back from the path and is very spacious. There is no tent pad, but plenty of flat ground to set up and sleep comfortably. Easy to find, access to a restroom, and access to trash cans/recycling. They even had extra dog waste bags available.

I stayed here in January and it it was wonderful. Perfect temperatures! The campsite is well maintained and it in a nice pine wooded forest. Perfect for hammocking.
