Recently constructed campsite area on the north side of I-70 is well laid out and has a great night sky view (we used it for getting out of the dome of Grand Junction city lights to witness Comet Lemmon).

Great campsite. Well kept up.

Amazing campground but the road was washed out from the recent rains. Do not attempt unless you have a high clearance vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

The sites are clean, level and far apart.

The road to Knowles Canyon Overlook campground flooded between October 9-12 making the road extremely dangerous and essentially impassable where Trail 2 enters the road about 2.3 miles from I-70. There is a very steep hill at this point, with two side streams coming into the road.We were able to get down the hill on Friday the 10th but It would not have been possible if we had waited another day. We witnessed 3 vehicles get into serious trouble at that hill. I have reached out to both the BLM and Mesa County to report the road conditions as extremely dangerous.

Clean campsites, we stayed at Jauflas 13 and it was right near the facilities which was great. The camp sides were pretty close together with minimal tree coverage, but it was perfect for off-season fall camping!

Beautiful site overlooking Colorado National Monument. Noise from the interstate was slightly intrusive, but the views and site overshadowed that.

This was a beautiful remote campsite. The campsites were is great conditions d incredibly well maintained. The bathrooms were pit toilets, but along they were all quite clean. BUT I dont think the roughness of the road to reach the overlook sites was quite as clearly stated as it could have been. Granted, we had a trailer. But the sites said up to 30 foot trailer. Let me just say we had a 20 foot trailer and it was tough going. Best for something that is really meant to go off road or just a regular high clearance vehicle with a tent. It was a great place, but just know more than I did going into it (which is totally my fault).

Spectacular views from Knowles Overlook at a very remote location. I would say 4x4 and high clearance is nearly a must more than a recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful place to camp. One of our very favorites!

Stayed one night on the way to San Rafael Swell. Enjoyed the view from a level campsite on the edge of the mesa overlooking I-70 in the distance. Narrow gravel road with a switchback, in good condition except for a couple washouts. Quiet with decent space and a few trees separating sites. Clean pit toilet. Would stay again.

Great spot with nearby MTB trails and amazing views from the campsites. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent campsite. Clean toilets that were well maintained. The reservation system worked well for me, I came here before the reservation system was in place.

I ended up not staying at Rabbit Valley campground, but instead went on to Moab, my final destination. Rabbit Valley was too far from the areas I wished to explore. The campground and sites are not very well marked. It took me a while to find the site I had reserved. It had very little shade, was dry and hot. Mostly ATV people were using the campground and trails. Again, very dry, exposed, and not much to see or do if you aren't an off-roader.

No crowds, beautiful views, great weather! Love this place!

Love the HUGE camp sites. However, for the cost this place is way overpriced. No water, trash, dump, or bathrooms. The site closest to the bathrooms is #1 and it's still not walking distance. Highly overpriced as well as the people at the site down from me were shooting guns right from their site making it a bit uncomfortable. There is also no shade so during the summer it is HOT.

Nice site, close to entrance and Restroom. Clean, and easy to get into as the road and site is laid stone for easy driving. Beautiful background:)

Our stay was excellent. Campground host met us on arrival and showed us two areas where we could park.He also explained history of the camp and suggested that we take the northern route out of the canyon -- which was quite scenic, albeit a little tough on the last grade of the canyon - had to rest the transmission.We loved the trees there and were glad to see all were trimmed high enough for our RV. All facilities were clean and usable.One thing to note, the deer think they own the campground and are quite friendly and are appreciate if you shake the apricot tree for them!

Clean camps, beautiful sky, and over all a nice setup. The staff care about this place, so for sure nobody works at the BLM to just collect a check. Public lands are awesome and this joint is a jewel in our collective crown.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
