I car campdidnt find out until I got there (after staff was gone for the day) that this is a walkout campsite. Photos are misleading. Im currently looking for a different campground. This was incredibly disappointing.

An absolutely beautiful campground. We were right on the water, so it was very windy in the afternoons. The service was amazing, the rangers at the visitors center and doing the events at the amphitheater were absolutely wonderful, the camp hosts were very friendly. We would definitely stay at this campground again

Excellent campground. We went mid week and the tent camping only sites were empty. There were a lot of mosquitos so bring spray!

We are tent campers and don’t mind packing our gear in. This site has a few easy-to-access campsites, adjacent to a small parking area. There are flush toilets and the restrooms are clean. There isn’t any shade, but the views make up for it.

The campground is beautiful, easy to access, and fun. Unfortunately, there was a group of people that set up a big tent and partied until 1:30 am on the walk-in part of the campground, I asked twice if they could lower the volume, they did for 5 minutes and then kept singing, playing guitar, yelling, etc. They were pretty drunk. Decided to go out looking to a host or someone to help with the situation and couldn't find any help, around midnight, long story short, it was a painful night,
