Quiet and beautiful setting.

We stayed 1 night. The campground was quiet and the area was beautiful, we will be back, will spend a week or 2.

Road traffic noise doesn’t bother me. Good thing, as I was literally 50 yards from I-70. Check-in was easy, thought still not happy visiting states that charge $9/vehicle/day on top of the site reservation fee. Pull-through site convenient and good-sized. Full hookups. Very unusual that there are automatic water sprinklers that come on every evening - I had to adjust one of the heads that was spraying across our site and onto our RV. Watched a few other campers have to clear out all their chairs and kids’ toys from the grass areas. This was about 7-8:00 pm. Good thing we weren’t having a campfire. The grass is green, however. I assume the water is simply being pumped out of the Colorado River next door free of charge.
Easy on and off the highway. Convenient to Palisade, Clifton, and Grand Junction.
I would stop again.

Overall, it was very nice. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. The concessionaire for the showers should be fired. Showers were not clean at all. They charged $3.75 per shower....all quarters. How stupid is that? Staff turned off water at the dump station about 3 days before camping ended. Again, not smart since there is no water at the campsites. Generally not up to state park standards.
