Nice campground, although suitability of sites varies greatly. Well maintained restrooms. No campground store/supply, but you are very close to Grand Junction.

The views, drive and freedom was amazing! Lots of hiking trails and some of the best ones were short and close.

Clean and superbly maintained. Sites are level. Road to campground well marked and maintained. The vistas are breath taking.

Beautiful setting. Clean restrooms. Many sites, including ours, were on a slope so that levelling our vehicle for sleeping was a challenge.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Gorgeous views, nice sites, clean bathroom with running water, friendly host. Only downside is that you can’t have wood fires, so bring a propane campfire if you have one.

Consistently one of our favorite campgrounds. Far enough out of the way, but still close to services if you need anything (and who doesn't want to spend a minute in Fruita?). The camp host is friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. Every campsite we've booked has been perfect.

Great park and so nice to be able to stay up top. Great sunset views were just steps away. Terry, the host was very helpful and always had a smile.

Saddlehorn campground is very beautiful and has a hike along the canyon rim right off it, perfect length for an evening stroll and wonderful views.

Great campground. Big sites, beautiful views on the North side. Only downer was the HUGE RVs that came through and camped in the sites. Would be nice if there were a limit on the size of these beasts. 2 came in during our 2 night stay, both had problems getting around the bend in the campground road and getting into their spaces, you could literally see them above the trees. Otherwise our stay was really great and we will definitely be back.

The site I paid for was on a loop we found was closed. The available sites on Loop A that was open were not places we wanted to stay so we left
