Convenient for exploring the Park. Great views looking down over twinkling city lights in the distance at night. Took a little time to get level, but fine.

We LOVED this campground. Beautiful campsites that, although close together, felt more private because of the trees. Beautiful scenery inside an AMAZING park. We truly loved it and will absolutely be back.

I arrived after dark and found someone else camped in my reserved site. They weren't present. The camp hosts was off duty and the park visitor center was closed for the day. My recreation.gov email suggested I could change sites after arrival, but all sites were x'ed out when I tried to modify my reservation despite several sites showing available on a new reservation search. This campground offered a better user experience when actual "open" or "reserved" signs were posted on each campsite, with name and dates as appropriate, instead of a generic "go online to check availability or reserve" on every site. Not everyone will be able or choose to check online before just setting up in a nice, apparently unoccupied site.

One of the cleanest campgrounds Ive ever been to. The bathrooms are kept spotless. The upgrades of new asphalt roads and tent pads make it very attractive campground. The staff are the most kindest people youll ever meet. The camp host, Terry, is very helpful and knowledgeable. The visitor center has really great souvenirs to choose from and the staff is so willing to help with any questions you may have. The Park Rangers patrol the area and keep everyone safe. It is an awesome place to visit, with numerous trails and awesome views.

Our night stay was great. An exceptionally clean, well maintained scenic campground and facilities. Sites are paved and spacious.

Great experience at Saddlehorn. Campground is clean and well maintained. Host is on top of things and very friendly. We love this spot. No need to advertise, it’s plenty popular

Great trails for hiking. Try to get a site with shade. Camping spots are close together so camp noise is a bit high, would recommend off season or midweek visits. Camp host kept bathrooms very clean! Rangers at the visitor center quite knowledgeable and helpful with their suggestions.
