We made a reservation in Loop B. When we arrived we found out that almost none of the sites in Loop B were compatible with tents, especially the one we had reserved. The camp host was super friendly and suggested we move to Loop C where there was still some first-come first-serve openings that could actually accommodate a tent. Unless you have an RV, or self supporting 1-person tent and don't mind sleeping on the rocks, uneven ground, or asphalt next to your car, I would suggest using Loop C. Loop B was constructed for RVs and campers and not for those of us who still use tents. The website descriptions should include information on tent compatibility. Campsites in Loop C are really packed tight together, so don't expect too much privacy. The historic restrooms were nice and clean. The area is beautiful. An added bonus is that your just above Fruita and Grand Junction so the cell service is super strong in the campsites.

Nice spacious sites. We were only there for a weekend camping trip and so did not mind not having a camp fire. Facilities were clean and the campground pretty quiet considering half the sites had pull through RVs.

We stayed at a pull through. It was next to the road, and badly out of level in both directions. The trailer door was so close to passing people we had to check for traffic before opening the door.

The restrooms with flush toilets were close to the campsite & kept clean. However, there was not much shade at most of the campsites. Our campsite was an inner one. Despite being fairly full, the campground was not overly noisey. We had made reservations prior to going particularly because it would cover a weekend. My spouse would have preferred one of the outside sites that had a beautiful view of the valley.
